Hello MakeupTalkers! MakeupTalk’s editorial team was cruising around at the LA Makeup Show on Sunday February 27th, 2011. We
couldn’t attend on Saturday, but ended up going to the exclusive blogger event along with the makeup show. Attending the show was a total blast and was a great ecapade. There was a wealth of information available and the amount of resources that were there was amazing! MakeupTalk’s editorial team was in full swing running around with their cameras on the 13th floor in beautiful downtown Los Angeles. This Makeup Show was an event for the world’s most renowned makeup and cosmetics enthusiasts that included manufacturers, company owners, business reps and, of course, professional makeup artists . Many top cosmetic brands attended this show to showcase their latest makeup products and services. Speaking of landing a great interview, we caught up with Dina Ousley. Dina is an award winning professional makeup artist and cosmetologist, Dinair is the originator of the airbrush makeup which revolutionized the cosmetics industry. For over 25 years Dinairhas been the choice for salons and professional makeup artists worldwide and is the leading innovator of airbrush makeup, systems and accessories. We felt honored that she would take the time to allow us to ask her some questions and allow her to speak so candidly about what she does and why her company was at the show. We were very lucky to catch up with her in this MakeupTalk exclusive video interview:
Dina Ousley mentions in the video that Dinair was a “success overnight” and been around for 30 years. She mentions that Dinair was way ahead of their time and that they were “DINAsours” and they they are DINAmite! 
haha We really enjoyed her enthusiasm and passion for what she does. Accoridng to Dina, Dinair was the first HD airbrush makeup company on the market. She goes onto mention that many of her employees(makeup artists) have been with them for over 15 years. In the video, you will also see some examples of the airbrush kit’s use.
