Kat Von D Tattoo Liner

Kat Von D
I was really excited to try Kat Von D Tattoo liner because I have seen so many bloggers use it and it looks amazing in their photos. The liner is essentially a felt tip pen style with a sharp tip that gives very precise application. The marker glides smoothly right into my lash-line which allows you to create a very thin line, if desired. The liner is really easy to use and a winged eye can be achieved with ease. I wore the product all day and night without re-applying and it didn't budge. I have not experienced this with an eyeliner pen before due to the fact i have oily skin, they usually smudge off within a few hours. Its staying power is amazing. The product is okay value for money, 20 euro is a bit more expensive than other brands for an eyeliner pen but the staying power is amazing so I feel that the price is somewhat justified. The only problem I have with this product is the fact the formula is not black enough, and it turns a dark grey shade with wear during the day. However, I would recommend this product and purchase again!

This is all I used to use because people would rant and rave about it and honestly I tried something new that came in my Birchbox and it blows the Kat Von D Liner away! It's the Eyeko London skinny liner. It is was more precise, pitch black (which it even says so on the packaging), and water/smudge proof. No joke it's a way better product. I actually just did a video the other day about applying winged liner and I talk about these two and the difference Go figure I'd see this post. OH! And the Eyeko London is cheaper so it really makes choosing between the two even easier. Hope this was helpful! Xo

Interesting that it doesn't stay black for you. I have the color Trooper and feel that it is perfect in my option and lasts all day. I use two different eye shadow primers as I go back and forth between Too Faced Shadow Insurance and Urban Decay Primer Potion depending on the look I am going for that day and it works great for me.
