Hey guys!  I wanted some feedback on this coral lipstick I snapped up.  Normally coral looks awful on my skin tone so I've been searching for something flattering to wear this summer.  I have recently been experimenting with a new cosmetics line I stumbled across ( 3 Custom Color Specialists) and I ordered this lipstick to see if I like their formulation.

I think I really like the color and after seeing the pics.  It's less of an orangy coral which never seems to work on me.  I have more pictures and swatches on my blog if you want to see it in different lighting ( http://meghandidit.wordpress.com/2011/02/09/a-coral-lipstick-for-cool-girls/ )  It went on a little matte which I wasn't thrilled with, but lip gloss saved the day, and other than that I was happy.  I'm curious now to see how their warm coral color differs from this cool version.  Hmmm....

I'd like to order some more colors so if you've tried any other colors please let me know!

Ooh, i love it ! I think it's a great color, definitely a fruity color, i was think of a raspberry base. I need to check it out now !

That's exactly what I thought - except I said cherry.  At first I wasn't sure that it qualified as coral technically, but then I dug out some red coral necklaces that I own, and looked a piece of natural coral, and it's a lot closer than the bright orange coral lipsticks I own.  I can't wait to wear to wear his with a breezy cotton dress when things get warmer!

I'm checking their website now, how about the shimmerign lights lipsticks? Maybe not for daily use but they seem very pretty. I like Galaxy, it's really cool (lol) they indicate if the shade is warm or cool, saves us the trouble of guessing through pictures.

Oooooh.  The Galaxy color is really pretty.  I ordered two lipstick palettes from them (the Century of Red Palette, and the Cool Lipstick Palette) so I'll be experimenting with these in the future.  I was also intrigued by their cool lavender lipstick - it seems like it would be a really pretty neutral color and I don't own anything like it from the swatch I can see online.

I`m a coral junkie, and part of what I love about it is that it can lean orange or pink to flatter most skin tones.  I think the colour you`ve chosen looks gorgeous.

I LOVE coral, and I have either cool skin or neutral-leaning-cool (I think the latter), so thank you for this! Coral is one of my favorite colors, and it's always so hard for me to pass up coral lipsticks. I actually own one but never wear it.

I've had the same issue too.  I have three coral lipsticks in my personal makeup case and some glosses, and they look too harsh on my skin.  They are the first things you notice on my lips and I've always been sad that I can't wear this color since I really like it.  I found lining it with a lip pencil helped give it more depth also.  Anyway, I'm glad everyone gives this the thumbs up!  I feel encouraged now and will start thinking about what else I can snap up.  :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

yes I really like this coral. I have the same tones in my skin, so I've never dared to try a coral shade, but this one is inspiring!
