He's said he's seriously considering running in 2012.  Am I the only one who thinks this is a terrible idea? lol.

wow, haven't seen you on in a long time!  though, i don't know that the guy known for making a lot of money and firing everybody is going to be that popular >.<

Hey you!!!!

No way. I am not fond of his business practices. He would abuse the position monumentally.

Hi Shaundra!  How are you?

Not sure about Donald Trump.  One thing though, he's a very successful business man and the way our national debt is spiraling out of control, we may need some sort of successful business man/owner in there instead of a community organizer.  :p /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20">

Just a marketing ploy, IMO

I think he's just trying to get more people to watch his tv show.

The more he makes himself seen, the more people will watch  - or so he hopes.

I agree with Carolyn i heard that he wanted to run but of course he has his show obligations and after that runs its course he can turn his attention to running the country.

He is so qualified since he is used to firing people.   and of course he is a Republican.....

We need him for President.  I think he's the only one with b&lls enough to fire anyone!

LOL!

I have a running joke at work (I work for the government) that if someone royally f's something up at work, and they always do.  I say to no one in particular, "If so and so worked for Donald Trump, they'd be fired by now!"

You would be surprised at how many incompetitent people work for the government and how much money is spent on their rediculous salary.  Government employees need a wake up call!

Okay, rant over.

Picture this:  Donald Trump is president.  He and the joint chiefs are sitting at a boardroom table.  Donald points his finger in their faces and says "You're fired!"  Then comes Congress and Donal Trump says "You're Fired!"  Now the Supreme Court "You're Fired!"  This goes on until the only one running the country is The Donald.  Yes, I know he can't actually do that, but I swear his ego is so big that he'd try it!  I do agree that it would be nice to have someone with good business sense in charge, but reality is that the POTUS has the option to surround himself with people like that if he wants to who can advise him.  But really, he can't do anything without Congressional approval in the form of passing laws.  I think the people of the US should ban together and when each and everyone of our Congressmen come up for election we should vote for whoever runs against them.  Send them a message that we are SICK of business as usual and we will show them that we not only want change, but we will make it happen. Lobbyists be damned!  Sorry, I just had to rant a bit.

Who here knows Trump's business practices? Sure he's "successful." If scheming and defrauding ppl of money and attaining wealth (a la Wallstreet) is what we consider successful and competent then yes, he'll make an excellent president! And we'll get the leader we deserve - his success will trickle down to the rest of us like it does for his current employees.

HA! In America? Yea, right!

People are too scared for tomorrow and too concerned with the bare minimums to take care of their families, too winded and too defeated to think they can do anything about this country.

You could thank the elitist propaganda that always presents them with a boogie man to hate while THEY pull their wealth and rights away from them. It's been generations of this conditioning, and I don't know if a change is possible unless the ppl like you who recognize it become community organizers and TRY to effect some change. But then you may realize the true size of the beast and have to toe the line like the rest of them who tried before.

Reese, I think you and I think alot alike.  I'm not much of a leader in the political sense, but if someone asks my opinion I give it honestly.  And when it's time to vote I go and vote my conscience.
