Have you heard of Argan Oil?  I just got some and it is awesome!  Essence Of Argan has the purest, best oil I could find - they import directly from Morocco - which in turn benefits the all woman Berber tribe that harvests the oil.  Check it out.

I love Argan Oil!!!!!!! I have the Organix Argan Oil Penetrating Oil and my hair has never been softer!  I always watch Josie Maran who has a whole line based around this.  I'm in love

I use the Moroccan oil everyday just got it recently am in love with it, I think they would be very similar. I need it as I have long hair and can't comb through it well otherwise. They are expensive but a little goes a long way. It's like a serum so you only use a pea size amount and my bottle lasts at least a year if not longer!! I used to use serums allot and this stuff is way way better!! :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I love Argan oil!  I use it to keep my hair looking smooth and soft.   However a little goes a long way, I learned that the hard way by using a tad too much and ended up looking like an oil slick all day!

Argan Oil is a wonderful moisturizer and anti-aging productthat is getting popular with each passing day. It has a high concentration of vitamin E, essential fatty acids, sterols and squalene that helps with skin elasticity. Great for hair as it is a non greasy oil. It makes your hair and skin feels like silk. It also makes your skin glow. You can use it straight or add a few drops to your favorite lotion, creme, shampoo, conditioner, etc...

I recommend using 100% pure argan oil that is fresh with no additives, preservatives or fragrance. Many products like the brand Moroccan Oil, organix only contain 4 to 5% argan oil

My favorite brand is Mogador Argan Oil, it is 100% pure, certified organic and is a fair trade product. Their bottle comes with instructions on the label and I do find that to be very helpful. It is moderately priced and I have a 2 oz bottle for 3 months now and it is still half full!

Mogador Argan Oil is available at http:www.CertifiedArganOil.com. Try it and you will love it!

Agreed... pure argan oil is the way to go.  I use www.essenceofargan.com whihch is great - but i go through a 1oz bottle in about 2 weeks.  I apply everywhere - and use on my hair.  I apply it everywhere and really love it.  I had no idea so many people knew about this product... apparently it has been around for centuries.

Alright alright ya sold me I went and bought some Argan oil today gonna try it out in the morning and I`ll tell ya how I like it..... Also found some more CHI silk infusion eeeeee my favorite thing of life lol!! :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I LOVE the stuff- Sallys sells a line called One and Only that contains it.  I even got a flat iron infused with it that is so much better than my Chi! My daughter is biracial and it works miracles on her very dry and brittle hair.

I love it to bits! For my skin and for my hair! I got mine fron iherb. The best pre-wash oil treatment for my hair, but I think I rather lurk myself over to the haircare forum for this rave

Argan oil is great! I absolutely love it! I use it on my skin and hair and sometime substitute olive oil in my cooking recipes with it.

Did you know that The Argan oil is rich in vitamin E (620 mg / kg for Argan oil compared to 320 mg / kg for Olive oil) which is a powerful fat-soluble antioxidant that captures free radicals and neutralizes destructive oxidation.

Some Argan oil medical properties:

  • Anti-oxidant (phenolic compounds)
  • Reduces hyper tension
  • Reduces cholesterol damage
  • Reduces rheumatic an articular pain
  • Stimulates brain capacity
  • Facilitate digestion by increasing the concentration of pepsin in the gastric juice

Traditionally in Morocco, Argan oil is used in tajinescouscous, salads, grilled tomatoes and other famous moroccan recipes

I love my Argan Oil. I use the oil from camden-grey.com  It has the scent removed but it's still wonderful stuff. I use it on my face before primer and at night. In my hair after washing. Now that i color my hair i use 2 drops to keep it from drying out.

I also love Argan Oil soap from Henna sooq.com  It's fabulous.  Mix argan oil with my Morrocan clay powder and it's wonderful as a mask and cleanser.

I can't get enough of it!

i want to try it!! I got a sample of the Josie Maran one and it was super creamy but kind of pricey... I saw that 100% pure is selling theirs for $19!!

I'll have to get it when I get my next paycheck

I just lovvvve Argan Oil. I bought a huge Josie Maran kit and it came with the big bottle of Argan Oil. I've been using it around my eyes in substitution of eye cream (because I ran out) and it hydrates soooo well. I get dry flakey spots in the inner corners of my eyes and the oil makes them vanish. If I'm treating a big pimple, it can get dry and flakey from the medication, so I dab a little Argan Oil on the area at night and in the morning the dryness is gone.

I saw one in a bazaar lately. Quite pricey but it sounds promising.. To those who have tried can i use this As a primer?

Have any of you tried Josie Maran's Argan Tinted Moisturizer?

I don't know much about argan oil, but I wanted to give tinted moisturizers a try after years of mineral makeup and it just so happened that the first TM I tried was one that included argan oil. I've been using it since the summer but wasn't too pleased at first because I have combo skin and the added oil from the TM filled up blotting sheets in no time. But during the winter this TM replaced my mineral foundation because the essential oils that I complained about during the summer are a godsend for the winter! Not to mention I like that the coverage is pretty good for a tinted moisturizer. But as far as the benefits of argan oil go, I'm not so sure I feel like I've gotten much more out of this than just hydration, which I can get from any TM anyway. Maybe I haven't used it long enough to notice any argan-related changes yet? I've been using it for half a year.... Or maybe my skin just isn't sensitive so I tend to not notice much with ingredients?

Would love to hear your thoughts.
