Okay, So I carry around my main makeup bag and then i have a smaller pencil case type thing in which i carry my brushes. I wouldn't normally carry around brushes and the amount of makeup that I am right now, but it is only because I am in between houses as I will be moving soon.

I've completely downsized my purse and worked darn hard so I can do my makeup in the morning, make it stay all day, and carry as little with me as possible. (Helps keep my shoulders from falling off too!) Therefore, in regards to "makeup" I carry only:

* Lipgloss of the day (depends on outfit)

* Super shiny/neutral gloss

* Mini MUFE powder

* Lip Liner

* Nail File

* Eye Drops

All I carry with me is lipstick and oil blotting sheets. The lipstick is usually from either Kat Von D or MAC

Are you talking about a travel makeup bag or just makeup bag in general? It's not really a "bag"...more so a storage unit. But when I go out I usually have a few lips in my makeup bag: mascara, powder, oil blotting sheets, powder brush, lipgloss/lipstick (for touch ups), chapstick...I think that's pretty much it.

sorry kaytie, I meant your normal routine makeup, the bag you use everyday and/or carry with you for touch ups.

I just came to the realization that I am carrying way to many lip stuff lol

The stuff I use everyday are WAAAYYY different than what I carry with me in my purse.

What I use every day would probably fit in a shoe box. (or two, or three)

What I carry with me would probably fit in a zip lock snack pack!

What I usually carry with me is basically the stuff that comes off:

-a lipstick and lipgloss of some sort

-MAC Technakohl in Photogravure for the waterline 

-Nars Laguna bronzer and Orgasm blush

-MAC MSF Soft n Gentle

I'll take my foundation with me If I've having a bad skin day..

I wouldn't even bother trying to list what I use on a daily basis. You'd need a pillow and a sleeping bag LOL

For my *purse* touch up bag, or the whole lot of what I keep in my purse on a day to day basis in regards to makeup and skin care items, this is truly scary:

* my custom mixed powder

* my custom mixed facial mist

* blue oil blotting sheets (those 3M types)

* clear organic lip balm

* lip liner I never use

* 5 to 8 different lipsticks - from Lancome to Rimmel to NYC

* at least 15 different glosses from Rimmel, MAC, Smashbox, Cargo 4 gloss tin, NARS, Bobby Brown gloss quad, etc

* a jar of loose pigments to dab over gloss to give longer wear

* travel sized Lancome & Fresh Firebird and bla bla mascara - can't remember the other one

* my favorite Calvin Klein perfumes - Obsession and Secret Obsession - travel sized

* my custom mixed perfume

* body spray - LOL - really, like I NEED this....?? ^^

* 3 or 4 different hand creams ?? WTH ??

* wet wipes

* a bottle of nail polish to touch up any chips - the color I would be wearing the day I go out

* retractable powder brush

* hair brush - travel sized

* hair spray - travel sized

* hair clip

* hair screws

* nail clippers (next 3 items are in case of breaks)
* glass nail file

* big fat emery board nail file

* video camera

* didital camera

* paper toilet seat covers - LOL

Holy crap, I really gotta go through my bag. There's MORE! I didn't think I was that bad....but after listing this all...WTF am I thinking?!? No wonder my bag is so damn heavy! I am a total FREAK when it comes to hauling crap around! LMAO

I travel light. 125mL bottle of Bioderma Sensibio H20 micelle solution. Shiseido facial cotton sample packet. LIFE Brand quilted 'Luxury' cotton pads mini pack. Avene 50mL mini thermal water spray. Clean & Clear blotting papers. LOTD - whatever that is. Murale pocket-mirror & pack of mini emery boards. Carmex, in the EZ-On tube. Caudalie lip treatment. Bonne Bell Strawberry lip smacker. MSFN in Light. EcoTools powder brush, in sleeve.

Spring is the perfect time to take inventory of your makeup bag.  I used to be perfectly content with my L’Oréal and Cover Girl makeup. I am lazy and not interested in spending more than maybe eight minutes putting my face together in the morning.

I'm quite impressed with the Sensibio line, of what I've tried. I haven't tried the Sebeium (the one for combo/oilier skins) but the Sensibio/Crealine Micelle Solution is top-notch, as is the AR Anti-Rougeurs redness cream. I've sampled the eye gel, and the Sensibio Light Daily moisturizer, but they were just average; I also found the Daily Moisturizer to be far too light for my drier skin.

I don't carry any makeup in my purse.
