Does trimming your hair really make it grow faster?

Is it true that trimming your ends miniumum every 3 months allows your hair to grow faster? If you keep cutting it, how will it ever get longer?

 
Your hair grows from the roots, not the ends.

Getting a hair cut may make your hair look healthier (depends on how unhealthy/damaged it was to begin with) so it looks like it is growing faster.

Typically, hair grows 1/2 inch a month or six inches a year, if there are no trims/cuts.

 
It doesn't make it grow any faster if you get a trim. What it does is it removes the damaged parts, so you don't end up with all the breakage that occurs otherwise, which makes it SEEM like it's growing faster. But instead you just have healthier hair in general, so it stays longer.

Very true!!!

And trimming hair is good for hairs .
