Wow... I havent had my tattoos removed, but from what I hear, it hurts just as much as getting a tattoo... so basically, you're dealing with the same pain.  Stinging, burning... etc.

I've never had it done, but I've heard there's a little pain. You could read some reviews here. On that page reviews also rate laser tattoo removal as having an 85% "worth-it rating," and that's pretty high. Here's some good before and after tattoo removal pics if you want to see what results can look like.

I saw it done once on TV, the person was flinching the whole time. I can't imagine it not hurting. They also said you have to go multiple times to make it go away. Makes my stomach turn just thinking about it! Good luck!

I've heard it hurts much worse than getting one. My tattoo didn't hurt at all, but the removal process, naw I wouldn't do it. Have you tried dermablend with a setting powder? Or tattoo cover-up products?

I can't believe you said it didn't hurt! I'm such a baby. I've talked about getting one a few times and chicken out each time. I got a triple forward helix for my birthday and thought I was going to die! I can't imagine sitting there for HOURS! :w00t:

Just get the same tattoo over again but with your skin color and apply make up there.

Dermabrasion is one of the method for tattoo removal. It is a method in which a small portion of the tattoo area is sprayed with a solution which freezes the affected area. After this, the tattoo is sanded with a rotary abrasive instrument causing the skin to peel as some bleeding is likely to occur, but immediately a dressing is applied to the area causing no pain.

It depends on where you get the tattoo. Some spots on your body hurt horribly and others are barely felt. At least that has been my experience.  I have 5 individual pieces and a sleeve on my left arm. They are on my foot, lower back, ankle, shoulder blade and my chest.  The one on my shoulder blade, ankle and chest didn't hurt at all and the other two hurt so bad that I put off getting another one for 8 years!!

Oh and the OP posted this question almost 2 years ago!!

Yeah I see that but someone posted before me which is why I commented on it. I don't go grave digging! lol :p /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I had my tattoo removed and it did sting a bit but if you can handle getting the tatoo you can handle the treatment to have it removed.

I had it done in a office in Northridge, CA, I usually go there for botox  but I told him about my tattoo and how i regret it and he went through a couple options and I had  it removed. Completely satisfied and tattoo free, I highly recommend it. :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I have a question to you... Why don't you lock too old posts?

Sorry for unwanted suggestion... but I love MUT and want to see it better... and my personal opinion is that any thread must be automatically locked after 6 months from posting.
