It might help to know your normal color.. also changing the shape of a cut and adding simple highlights can often be dramatic enough.

Oh, I just reread the thread and you're a natural brunette? If you opt for blonde, it'll be a lot of maintenance with roots and touch ups. You'd look nice with an asymmetrical bob or shag cut. Do a rich and lighter brown shade to warm up your skin tone. Or stay dark and keep the contrast a la Snow White lol. Red is nice, but can make your skin ruddy if you're super pink or rosy.

I'd go with option 3. I agree with missli abt the upkeep though. I pay abt $170 per month to maintain my color.
