I thought this would be a fun thread since products often seem to hit these stores around the country at the same time.

This weekend I spotted a bunch of Ole Henriksen products at my TJMaxx, all full size:

Truth Creme Vitamin C for $19.99

Truth Serum Vitamin C for $24.99

And several different body lotions/body washes for $6.99-$7.99.

Thanks! I'll have to check it out tomorrow. My mom loves the Truth Serum! Maybe I can stock up for her

Ooh, I'm going to Sephora today and will have to stop by TJ Maxx. I recently saw L'Occitane Divine Cream and Clarins serums there last week. Thank you for the heads up!

Didn't find any Ole Truth Serum on today's trip, but I did pick up the eye peel concentrate instead (Truth is in the Eyes) for $12.99. Also found a Stri-Vectin gift set on sale for $29

I wish my local TJMaxx and Marshalls were like the ones I keep reading about.  Mine are a wreck.  All of the containers are open and have goopy, half dried product running down the bottles and all over the shelves.  Everything has been swatched so I never have any luck finding something that's still sealed.  Not to mention there's always 20 something people crowded around all 4 shelves and without fail there's that 1 person I'm 90% sure is shoving things in their handbag.  Oddly enough, my local Big Lots is impeccable.

That's exactly what my TJM and Marshall's are like too.

Where do you people live???? I swear my TJM and Marshall's never have anything! Well that's not true, they always have elf products for like .50 less then full price.

We don't even have Marshalls here. TJ Maxx Usually has dried-out ELF products, the same bottles Essie polish in two different shades of orange that have been sitting on the shelf for months, and a bunch of brands I've never heard of.

We have Winners here. It seems like there are nice stores with wonderful products, but almost retail prices, or the more trashy stores that have super cheap stuff that is usually... Well, trashy. So you can either be guaranteed nice, expensive things, or take a gamble for some cheap high end products. I am super cheap and have no money anyways (yay for school!) , so I choose the latter lol :p /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> Anyways, two of my best recent scores have been a 100 pan palette from ELF (I wanted a whole bunch of colours for the once or twice I'd need a crazy neon yellow or shimmery chartreuse), and Nubar White Polkadots, which I'm super excited about, it was a lemming and my first Nubar... It takes some time and effort to look, but it's well worth it :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> You definitely pay for convenience. Discount stores require patience and a little effort, but, to me at least, are well worth it.

Just stopped into my Marshalls, guess I have the worst of the worst. Almost full price product and it's all a hot mess. Opened, mashed and smashed

! The best thing they had was a $20 Ole Henriksen Truth Cream, 1/2 priced but it had been opened and the cover looked sketchy.

I don't know how everyone finds such great things, but I think that was my last time searching at this store.

I think it just depends. You just have to find a good store. I've given up on these spotting things (I'm in Canada and I can never find it if I'm looking for it... My stores. NEVER have anything other stores do.) and yes, some stores just suck lol. Plain and simple... You just have to find a good store and be prepared to dig a little :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I agree...some stores are better than others. Most are a mess with stuff all over the place and you have to search a while to find some good deals. I'll find a great deal every once in a while (especially perfumes and skincare) so I go in randomly to see what they've got. Supposedly they get shipments in every weekday so I try to go earlier in the week before the packages get opened and smashed.

I love finding brushes and beauty tools!  Found some "Precision Beauty" sponges that are similar to beauty blender...slightly different shape, VERY different price tag, too!

Found a detangling/wet Tangle Teezer style brush for $4.99!  The brand is "D-Tangler", so it's not name brand per-se, but it has the same dual-length bristle style so it should work fairly well.  My 4-year-old screams every time I brush his hair, so I'm hoping for a miracle here

I find a lot of Oscar Blandi and Philosophy at my TJMaxx.  They have a lot of fragrance, too.  I got a bottle of CK Euphoria Blossom for $15 once.  You just have to hit it at the right time.

My tjmaxx has tons and tons of philosophy. Also had nars skin care last week, sheshido, Kate spade makeup, OPI, bliss, and I found some too faced eyeliner!!!
