Does anyone know if laser skin resurfacing can be used for stretch marks? The conditions listed on this doctor's laser treatment page doesn't say that specifically, but I'm pretty sure I recall reading that it could be used for that. If not, what are some other common ways to get rid of stretch marks?

Unfortunately there are no real effective treatments to eliminate stretch marks. Some treatments can reduce the appearance but that's it.

I actually talked to aesthetician about that. She said laser treatments do remove stretch marks after several sessions. But they are very costly. And the procedure does not prevent appearance of new stretch marks. Specifically she mentioned pregnancy which can cause stretch marks. So it is better done after one.

You can't get rid of them completly but they will lighten and fade.  Just be sure to be patient and consistent when using the cream.  I had success with Excel Skin Care's Premium stretch mark cream.  It's good for any scars you may have as well. Go through Amazon for the best price.

You can get microdemabraison on them. Although they won't go away completely, they will fade. I did it to a student in school and I noticed hers lightening quite a bit. You just need to give it time because it will take multiple treatments before you see results.
