I was really hoping that tiny plant would be a lifestyle extra. Just to see the look on hubby's face when he sees the most adorable little plant. Aww!

My husband's box didn't update yet even though it's the 25th! No shipping info either, what the heck!

I don't think that would make a bad lifestyle extra at all! I think it's cute! I really like the extras this month though.

We liked all of the extras we saw in the video too! His box came today and and get some nice fold-up sunglasses. Which...are nice but...he's a 24/7 glasses wearer, so I'm going to try to trade 'em. *sigh* I think all of his samples made up for it, though!

I'm away on vacation but I peeked at spoilers and I'm not thrilled... Vasanti Face Rejuvenator Hanz de Fuko Claymation (he doesn't style his hair at all...does anyone know how to prevent getting this type of product? Haircare is unchecked...maybe I should say he has no hair?) Davines shampoo Areaware bottle opener English Laundry Oxford Bleu Boo, so boring!

I've heard people say bald gives them no hair products. He also wouldn't get shampoo, though. If that's an issue. (probably not)

I don't think no shampoo will be too big of a bummer (for him...I love shampoo samples though). Better no shampoo than useless styling products. The only styler he uses is hairspray which is very easy to come by. I find that odd but I won't judge. He insists on being surprised and the box just left Tennessee so it will probably be awhile, but I will see if he would prefer the sunglasses. I am hoping he will like the bottle opener more than I am anticipating but we can definitely trade if not.

What is up with men wanting to be surprised? Haha. My guy won't let me tell him either. Is this a guy thing that they won't peek? How do they do it?! It's a super power!

We got the dopp kit bag which they actually originally sent out about 9 months ago and I really wanted it then, so it was a good month for us.  He got the MeUndies T shirt last month so I was just really hoping he wouldnt get ANOTHER plain t shirt this month, but everything else actually looked good for once!

I had bought a box on the 4th and I finally got the shipping info yesterday so I've still got a long way to go until it comes in lol

I was always a bit envious of the lifestyle products and gadgets that would come in Birchbox Man so I decided to just order the subscription for myself! Why should guys be the ones to get the fun stuff? And I was always worried when I was in a relationship that if I ordered him BBM then he would always use the really cool things that I actually wanted. We'll see how this goes for a month or two!

I just received the May box! (And it's not even May, this is so different from BB Women's ...)

And now I just realized I have no idea how to post spoilers in this new format. Anyway, I was actually super pleased with it.

@@jbrookeb I have! I actually really like it! Cologne samples are much more fun than perfume samples since he doesn't have dozens like I do with perfume. Did you get a cologne sample this month? I was REALLY hoping for one of the solid colognes, but we got 1968 instead and I think it's a little weird.

@@KayEss He hasn't gotten his box yet, but I think he's getting the 1899 cologne and I'm very intrigued by the description of it. I recently ordered a sample of Gold Leather by Atelier and it smells like the essence of man! Deep and rich with hints of sweet pipe tobacco, rum, and old leather.

What's weird about the 1969 scent? Is it as citrusy as the BB man spoiler video made it seem?

@@jbrookeb The 1899 one sounds really good! I am a big fan of "essence of man" type smells. I just bought one of those little tree air fresheners for my car that is "black ice" scent which apparently means "manly man sexy" smell. Let me know how you like the 1899. I think it's cool that they are named after years. I hope they continue sampling the solid cologne next month because we both were really curious about it!

Well...the 1969 is like coffee/chocolate/peach...kind of a gross combination in my opinion. I haven't smelled it enough to make a final verdict but I don't think I'm a fan.

Eww. Coffee, chocolate, and peach? There's a reason Starbucks doesn't offer that combination. I don't know how I confused citrusy smells w that odd lot. Haha
