So tomorrow's ipsyMe event will be a 15-pan Starlooks eyeshadow palette. I don't know anything about Starlooks except that they have their own box... are the eyeshadows any good? The palette retails for $99, so it's gonna have to be a hell of a sale to convince me to buy it unless you guys say it's dreamy!

Whoa, $99 for a Starlooks palette?? That's like 2 UD Nakeds! I'm also curious about the shadow quality but not at that price!

I wonder if this isn't ame kind of "creative inflation." ELF occasionally offers package deals of their stuff ridiculously cheap and say its a $200.00 value. When you look at the fine print it's when you compare the ELF product to a similar high-end brand (like their Studio blush and bronzer vs. Nars, which look remarkably alike right down to the compact.)

Yeah, I believe it's something like that=) they have a lot of discount codes and offers kind of frequently, so I think they need to keep it marked up. It also helps sell their sub box once a year when they include one and market the $99 box value. I am a huge fan of Starlooks, but their eyeshadow may be my least favorite product. I may just be spoiled by UD, but Starlooks doesn't feel very smooth. I have had a few shatter kind of easily. I guess your not supposed to touch the mattes with your fingers... Which I do all the time... Really not my thing.

The palette is on sale for $20 through IpsyMe. I just bought one...not like I need more eyeshadow, but I've never tried any Starlooks products before, and the price seemed reasonable

It's not worth the $99 price tag but $20 is a better price. The metallics are gorgeous but the mattes... way too hit and miss especially the red and black.

I jumped on the band wagon and bought it as well as a gel liner. The palette is much tinier than I expected. The shadows are a decent size, the case is just quite small. There are a couple shadows that you have to scratch off first unfortunately like a lot of their other palettes, or so I hear. I'm not impressed with the quality, its just meh. I like my coastal scents better. Also, no way is it worth $99.

But if you are looking for a Starlooks product that is very much worth it, the gel liner pots are AMAZING! They do not move no matter how much you blink, sweat, etc. They are there all day and almost as crisp as when the day started. I received Black Hole in March box and I bought Jupiter at this event. Love them so much. Waiting for my May Starbox to come and then I am going to order some more.

Yes! I love those liners! They have some really nice liner brushes too.
