Acne at 26 I mean. My e on my keyboard is sticking for some reason.

I have dealt with acne since I was 13. It used to be ridiculous but not I just have a few breakouts. Still at my age it is ridiculous. I always thought when I grew up I would stop having acne problems. Wrong! :( /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> I have tried Clearasil otc to no effect and I tried the Neutrogena soap but it just irritated it. Does anyone else have adult acne and what otc products, if any, have made a difference for you?

I'm 36 and just got my acne under control within the last 6 months! I didn't want to be on antibiotics and nothing over the counter worked. I tried a sample from Paulas Choice and noticed a difference, so I purchased the acne line (cleanser, liquid exfoliator, and acne cream) such a difference in my skin it's unreal. The product that really worked wonders was the exfoliator, the rest are good but that made a massive difference!

I'm 42 and I still have break outs.  I use Paula's Choice as well.

Has it worked for you? I use the 2% and 4% BHA and I really like both.

Oh no! I was hoping it would eventually start getting better. lol I will definitely have to try PC. I was looking at it last night after SaraP suggested it and I saw a lot of good reviews but it seems that it is out of stock a lot. Where do you guys buy it?

Directly from her website. http://www.paulaschoice.com/ You can also read her reviews of other brands here, if you want to try something that you can buy at locally. When I'm considering a product from a brand other than Paula's Choice, I read Paula's review and then check out makeupalley for reviews from real people before making my decision. http://www.paulaschoice.com/beautypedia/

I was afraid of that. I want to try all of the products so I was wanting the kit since it is less expensive than buying each separately but it is sold out. Guess I'll have to wait a bit. Thanks for the suggestion though everyone. I didn't even know it existed.

I haven't started using her BHA yet, but I have a bottle of the 2% Gel set aside. I'm going to start using it when I finish a tube of BHA that I have from another brand. I use products from more than one of her lines, since at 42 I also need anti-aging. This is what my regime will be once I start using her BHA. Morning Skin Balancing Pore-Reducing Toner Skin Balancing Antioxidant Serum with Retinol - doubles as a make-up primer (I have to show my ID to buy alcohol a lot more often since I started using this) Skin Balancing Ultra-Sheer Daily SPF 30 Night Skin Balancing Pore-Reducing Toner CLEAR Extra Strength Acne Treatment with 5% Benzoyl Peroxide (some BP products are drying, but I don't have any problem with this one) Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Gel I use a Eucerin cleanser, but I'm going to switch to PC as soon as I decide between the ones from the CLEAR line or the Skin Balancing line.

You must try Jarvis Cream & Serum. It is really good product. Jarvis Cream will help your skin invulnerable framework to be at the most healthiest condition and Jarvis Serum will enter through skin, actuate the dead platelets with the goal that the blood can stream unreservedly once more.

i'm 29 and have also been using Paula's Choice and noticed a difference.  I use the natural collection which ever one that is.  5 steps for the acne one was just too much for me to do, especially at night.  Try the sample kits of various types to see if you like any of me.  Another thing that has helped me a lot is taking vitamin E supplements.  Do your research on this one before you start.  I've heard that there can be problems with taking too much, but I've decided to take the risk and I take a low does.

With any product, please do a patch test first.  PC 2% BHA burned my skin so badly and I do not have sensitive skin.

When I used proactive, I didn't have a negative reaction.

I found a new home made remedy to protect our skin from acne. It is turmeric... Mix it with curd and honey and apply skin as mask. It will give you healthy, glowing and acne free skin.
