I'm half italian, pretty pale. I have dark circles under my eyes badly. I've tried all kinds of creams and concealer. Just wondering if anyone found anything that is guaranteed to work. It really effects my self esteem

I'll attach a picture with no make up

I am telling some of the home remedies. Hope it will going to help you. So, here is the list:

  1. Coconut oil is the best and natural remedy. Apply coconut oil on the affected area and the dark circles will diminish.
  2. Mix potato juice with cucumber juice in equal ratio and apply it until you get the best result. It also helps in reducing puffiness along with the dark circles.
  3. Tomato juice could also be use to lighten the skin color.
  4. Mix cucumber juice with lemon juice in equal proportion, apply it and wash off with water after 15 minutes. This needs to be apply daily.
  5. The best remedy is to apply castor oil under the eyes before sleeping and wash off with water in the morning. Apply it regularly and see the result after two weeks.

I THINK Strivectin makes a cream for dark circles under your eyes. I haven't used it in a few years but I remember it working. I've also heard that Kat Von D concealer covers up tattoos so it makes me think it would work for under eye circles. Are you getting enough sleep? I know sometimes it's just in your genes, but I'm wondering if something could be causing it. Do you always have them?

Holy moly the gods have come back to help my spelling! I don't know what I did but the site finally corrects my spelling again! wohoo!

Strivestin contains NIA-114 which can cause some serious headaches in people.

I've never found anything ( creams etc. ) to completely rid myself of undereye shadows and have become expert at using concealers over the years.

There is supposed to be a cosmetic surgical procedure that will rid you of dark circles caused by genetics. You could look into that if the problem seriously bothers you.

Allergies and sleep deprivation (and genetics) are the main causes of undereye circles. Sleep, allergy medication, and good concealer are pretty much all you can do. I have them too (my physician calls them 'allergy shiners') and I found applying eye cream to keep the area moisturized helps, but sleep and Benedryl help more. I hope you can try not to let it affect your self-esteem too much: you're one of millions of women with undereye circles, and a good concealer hides a multitude of problems.

Good luck!

I didn't know this. Do you know of any other type of stuff that contains that? I have chronic migraines and wondering if I'm using something with it in it!

I agree with @Emma Brown;

Also if unable to do so then try only cucumber slices.. put them on eyes for 15-20 minutes daily. If need further assistant visit Jarvis Cosmetics, they will help you. Do Google for address....

Dear

Chill the used tea bags and keep them on your eyes ,twice daily for one week,10 minutes every time. Its very effective try it out.

To get rid of dark circles wrap ice cubes in wash cloth and put it over your eyes for 10-15 minutes. Do this twice daily. Another effective remedy for dark circles is cucumber slices. Place chilled cucumber slices over your eyes for 15 minutes daily. Both these are proven remedies to get rid of dark circles.

These are great tips but I think you should consult your dermatologist if it is hurting your self esteem for guaranteed results although dark eye circles are common and nothing to be ashamed off
