Or any colors you have a CRAZY amount of (but swear they're all a little different)? :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I was sorting through my collection over the weekend and realized I only have ONE blue item, an eye shadow that I didn't even purchase myself! Greens and golds pretty much dominate my eye shadow drawers. I'd like to think it's because they compliment my eyes best, but it's possibly it's my inner Packer fan coming out while I'm shopping...

I also only own ONE nude colored lipstick. They just seem so unexciting to me. Most of my lipstick drawer is bright pinks and reds and, lately, purples! I do also own one orange lipstick that I got in a trade, but I'm not sure I'd buy one for myself.

For nail polish, anything goes. My nails are lime green right now and my toes are dark purple and glittery.

What about you? Any colors you never buy/use? Or do you like to use every color of the rainbow?

I guess I stay away from neon colors (unless it is nailpolish)

The only eyeshadow I won't use (outside of neon) is YELLOW.   I don't touch that.  I have done orange before, as an accent with brown shades.  I haven't tried red - but I am open to it.

lipstick - not a fan of nude lipsticks.  I have sheer "nude" glosses, but meh, not the thing I reach for as a rule.  Some women are lucky and have super pigmented lips, not me!!  I love plums, peaches, mauves and brownish-red colors on my lips.  I will wear pink too.  Bright red is not a favorite, but I have a few of those.

eyeliners - anything goes!!  color, color, color!

blushes - plums, peaches, pinks.   boring, but what else is there?  lol

I try to avoid most neutrals. I find I have way more of them than I'll ever use because the makeup industry sneaks it into sets/palettes. I have neutral lipsticks in the UD Stockpile that I'm not sure I'll ever use, I have bright pretty palettes that they've cut neutrals into. I have Soooo much black liner from sets.

I have WAY too much blue/purple/green liner but I love them all.

Any brown eye products - they make me look like a zombie.

Blue/green nail polish (unless pastel) - really no valid reasoning for this, I just think it looks funny on me.

Darker berry colored blushes - looks like bruises.

Pinkish nude lippies - where'd my mouth go?? I do like the more brownish nude lippies though.

Yellow anything (besides nail polish), especially any face makeup with yellow undertones...eek!!

Nude lipsticks.  I just, can't find one that even remotely looks like I'm not entirely dead.

Any blush that isn't coral or gold.. just.. demolishes my skin.  I dunno why.. Bruised everywhere.

Yellow eyeshadow because it's terrible :p /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I have SO MUCH gold though, even yellow golds- but yellow yellows are out.

Bright/neon colors. I tend to stick to neutrals for everything. Probably because bright colors are scary o_O

Orange!!! No orange cosmetic, and very few in the coral family, look right on me--all you can see are lips or nails, it washes me right out. Clothing is even worse, or was a hundred extra pounds ago; I gave up on orange clothing after some nasty little kid started calling me The Great Pumpkin, and his equally nasty mother laughed about it. I also have very little in blue besides a couple of GWP eyeshadows and maybe a liner. When I was growing up in a strict parochial school, our only eye color options were blue and baby pink, and since graduation I have really tried to avoid both, mainly because of the emotional associations.

However, rules always have exceptions, and I wear Nars Orgasm well, also Elf blush in Glow, which is decidedly coral-ish. I have yet to find a coral lipstick that looks decent on me, though. I will wear light frosty pink as a highlighter.

I tend to stay with neutrals, browns and dark plum colors with eye shadows. I can't do neons or different colors. Sure some can look pretty but I can't get myself to do it. Polish, I tend to do everything besides yellow.

I NEVER buy berry toned lipsticks. The closest thing I have is a matte, mauve lip crayon. For me, personally, I think berry lips are the ugliest color ever. just thinking about it makes me cringe. I look dead when I wear that color lipstick.

I avoid most overly colorful eyeshadows, but I have a ton of pinky-mauvey-purpley kind of colors...they just suit my dark eyes and pale (PALE) skin.

Lips, I cannot stop with the plummy, rosy shades...all the "my lips but better" colors. And true reds, and fuchsias, and I do like certain corals (ones with a red lean)....well, I guess I have most anything besides beigey-nude shades, which make me look like a corpse.

Eyeliners, I only own black and other deep colors. I don't do bright eyeliner.

And for cheeks I'm always gravitating to super bright, true pinks (like UD Quickie, my current favorite). I just like how they brighten up my face (you know, making me look less corpse-like).

I'll wear anything on my nails (currently wearing cobalt blue), but I do buy a LOT of purples.

 I Avoid:

Pale, nude, and vivid/bright lipsticks or glosses

Blue eyeshadow and  vivid/screaming eyeshadows

Black eyeliners (looks aging and very harsh on my pale skin IMHO, YMMV)

Funky lip colors (blues, greens and such) I was over that by age 21, but it was fun for a hot minute back in the day

Orange nail polish

Blush

Bronzer

Addicted to:

I have tons of neutral eyeshadow palettes, neutral shadows palettes are one of my biggest weaknesses

Mid-tone pinks, mauve,  deep and sheer berry tones for lips

Eggplant/deep purple eyeliner

Dark brown eyeliner

Dark green and dark olive eyeliner

Indigo/dark navy eyeliner

Pinks, yellow, lavender, purple, mint and blues in nail polish

I don't like anything to bright.  I think as I have gotten older and have kids I can't pull on the trendy look as much as I use to think I could.  I also don't buy any weird colors in lips besides the normal browns, red and pinks.  I guess I've turned a little boring as I have gotten older, haha

Ahhh... I can't think of any! I'd have to say brown, though, because the only browns I have are ones that came in palettes. I still do wear them, though!

I've never purchased an apricot or peach makeup item.

The colour I have too much of... I'd have to say turquoise.

Quite alot I stay away from actually..

Blush: Red, orange-y or berry shades. Just don't like it on my skintone..

Bronzer: Anything orange or warmtoned.

Lip gloss/stick/tint: Orange, Brown or Burgendy. Also not a fan of too pale lilac colors.

Eyeshadow: Yellow, Red, Blue

Nailpolish: Black, neon yellow and green.

That's atleast what I can think of ^^

I stay away from red or bright orangey/corally lip colors.  Most nude lip products make me look like a corpse.  Although doe nude glosses work well for me over a brighter lipstick.

I have a hard time with green eye shadow.  But green eye liners work well for me.

I don't are for black eyeliners.

I also don't care for the silver/gray/black shades of eyeshadow.

And I probably have way too many purple eyeshadows.

I avoid any lip colors that are bright, dark, or red. I have pretty pigmented lips, so I actually like nude lipsticks.

For eyeshadows, I also don't like super bright or dark colors. Sparkly neutrals and purples are my favorites.

I really like coral blushes, but I'll use other colors, as well.

I'll use any color nail polish.
