Yes, green tea has many advantages. One should include green tea in his/her daily routine. It has the following benefits:

1. Green tea increases the metabolism. The polyphenol found in green tea works to intensify levels of fat oxidation and the rate at which your body turns food into calories.

2. Green tea reduces bad cholesterol in the blood and improves the ratio of good cholesterol to bad cholesterol.

3. Green tea apparently helps regulate glucose levels slowing the rise of blood sugar after eating. This can prevent high insulin spikes and resulting fat storage.

4. Regular consumption of green tea is thought to reduce the risk of high blood pressure.

Green tea is good, unless you're like me and a kidney stone factory! lol Which sucks because I loooooooove tea!

Other than drinking the green tea , does all those skincare that claimed contains the Green Tea extracts works as well?

I used to drink green tea with lemon every single day but then I got tired of the taste. Now, I drink tons of water with slices of lemon.

Green tea also makes a fantastic toner. My personal favorite is peppermint tea though, for drinking and my face.

Thanks for sharing... these are really helpful tips... specially for high BP patient.

I use a Sunscreen that contains green tea extract and I LOVE GREEN TEA EXTRACT!!!

My skin has never felt so hydrated and moisturized. Apart from the benefits of drinking green tea I would definitely look for it in your creams and sunscreen.

I use Activ Sunscreen 50+ Tinted Moisturizer but I'm sure there are several other sunscreens with Green Tea in them I would definitely recommend it
