When traveling, do you take your tried and true favorites? Deluxe minis of new products?

Side note- I am traveling and I'm trying to check to see if these QOTDs are posted, but if not, I am very sorry!! My schedule is crazy!

I always make it a point to take my samples! It's like the only way they'll get used up! Lol. But of course, I take things I love too (and I'm glad I have backups sometimes, when I visited Texas in December, I brought some bb creams samples and my tried and true cream- the sample turned out SO YELLOW. Complete no-go with my pale white skin. So glad I brought my tried and true cream haha).

So if its something important like a foundation...I always have my favorite in case the samples/minis don't cut it!

I take minis of my fav products and some deluxe samples of new things - like Slinka I try and check out new things and if they don't work I have some fav back up on stand by!

I am literally in the airport right now and thought that this is a perfect question. I always bring my fave and tested products like hair stuff and face products. It sucks to have pimples and yucky hair while away from home. I received my ipsy bag yesterday and took it with me this trip to try the products out. /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I always take my samples as well as well loved items. Just in case you know, disaster strikes. Lol

I was packing my travel bag when I thought of this one!!

I plan out my looks for everyday before I go on a trip using face charts, I bring the things I need for those looks. I prefer to try out new minis at home. For perfume I always bring samples, though.

It really does depend. For my hair I ALWAYS bring my faves. I can't risk having bad hair on my holidays. However, I bring bb cream samples (that i just swatched to see if they match), small mascara samples and maybe lip samples. Skincare I bring my faves; can't risk breaking out either!!

It depends for me. /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> If I know I need to look my best for an event that I'm traveling to then yes I absolutely bring my favorite makeup products in travel sizes. For hair, I usually bring whatever I have and then for skin care, definitely my favorites all the time.

Does anyone ever have those times though where because it's your favorite, you can't risk losing it while traveling or is that just me? lol

Haha, this is me! I'm bad with losing things so I tend to just bring a similar colour to my favourite when I travel.

Also for hair care, I just use the stuff at the hotel, tbh.
