I'm pretty lost, I'm not sure if I should be wearing soft shades or bright shades for the summer. As of right now I'm wearing copper chic eyeshadow. This year I'm going for a more beachy look this summer, natural and bohmian. I got my foundation down but I'm pretty lost to what type of colors would be best for this look. I'm buying drugstore brands cause I can't afford anything more at the moment; but I'll get around to that once I save up money. Could you help me out here, what shades would be best for this type of look? Name some shades and colors, thank you! I'm going tomorrow to buy lipstick/lipgloss and I need you're help. Counting on you guys! :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

hi there

I'd suggest checking out this thread

https://www.makeuptalk.com/f/topic/132242-drugstore-gems/page-10?hl=drugstore&do=findComment&comment=2234990

Loads of people have listed their fav lippies on that thread.

I think its so hard to say as its very coloring dependent...I'd head to a store and see if you can spot someone with a look you like and ask for their recommendation! But the same lipstick or gloss will different on different people! I would check out NYX butter range (loads of colors) and Revlon (the ones that look like giant color pencils) there are lots of choices!

Good luck

Check out kits at qvc or sephora...the values can be pretty good and you can return easily if you don't like. Tarte has some nice products and sets so you can get multiple colors to try. I use a lot of red apple lipstick lip products and they have a coupon club you can join with a 6 mon return policy. Honey badger lipgloss is a great neutral shade that would look nice with your copper tones. They also have a free online lipstick/gloss course to help you find the right shades, application tips, etc. that might be helpful for you.

Red Apple Lipstick also makes a gorgeous color called Brandy Candy which is a cool hybrid of bronze and mauve, I think it would look great if you're using a lighter touch on those shadows!

I think a light pink or mauve type color would be nice with that kind of style.

I am really loving the Rimmel Show Off Lip Laquers. The color 'Celestial' is a lovely pink and they aren't too expensive.

Another idea would be try the Wet N Wild Megalast Lipsticks or the NYC Expert Last Lipsticks. Both are wonderfully pigmented and are under $2! So you could try a few shades you think might work, for less than one of other drugstore lipsticks or glosses.

In the Wet N Wild Megalast Lipsticks, maybe try 'Think Pink' or "Mauve Outta Here" or if you want really bold pink, 'Dollhouse Pink' is one of my faves.

I like soft shades better. The bright shades need to be matched up to the outfits because they stand out so much, but the soft natural shades look good with everything. Rimmel stay glossy unlimited gold looks pretty.
