Favorite style Icons?

Just curious as to everyone's favorite style icons.  I know that I definitely have had a few that have inspired me over the years.  Anyway, I'll start the thread off with a few of mine:

Gwen Stefani - Ever since I was 12 and Tragic Kingdom came out, I absolutely loved her style.  Although she's evolved quite a bit from her DIY-looks of the 1990s, I still think she pulls off her more mature look quite impressively.

Kim Kardashian - I can't say that I follow her show, but she always looks incredible; very trendy with hair, makeup, clothing choices and such.

Eva Longoria - She always looks really classy with a sophisticated style, whatever she's doing.

Dita Von Teese - Love her modern take on vintage looks.

Kat Von D - I never really paid much attention to the art of tattooing before learning of her, but she really has brought it into an artistic realm.

Bernie Dexter - I must say that I really love the current retro pinup trend, and she has been a strong part of it for quite some time.

My style icons mainly inspire me when it comes to clothes: Kourtney Kardashian, Bethany Mota, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, the Olsen twins and Carli Bybel. For makeup and hair it's definitely Kim Kardashian

Totally love Carli Bybel too; she always looks stunning on all levels in her videos, and also seems very down-to-earth!

I am not following any stars or celebrity, I believe in my own fashion and styling. My fashion advisor is my MOM, she is my best ever styling diva.

I've mentioned before how much I love Angelina, but Angeline Jolie is totally my icon. For my entire middle school career I copied her style from Hackers, but her style in real life is just so tastefully elegant without ever seeming like she's trying to hard. Gah, she's my queen. :wub:

 Bettie Page, Marilyn Monroe,  Rita Hayworth, Dita Von Teese. I love retro-glam and ladylike styles, very girly.

Despite its dated technological aspect, I still love watching Hackers! Awesome movie (though it makes me feel old lol). And I agree, Jolie always has a way of looking effortlessly natural so easily!

Kardashian is just so nattrally stunning. I don't follow her show, but wow, she really has a sense of style! I think Depp has always looked really cool in his roles. He's also been an extraordinary actor for decades now /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I LOVE the retro pinup looks I see these days; so many great models! Dita is definitely a fav of mine! /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Looking at the clothing I choose to wear and the accessories I pick I think the biggest influences on my style have been my mom and my grandmother. From my mom I have big sunglasses, my love of Keds and Ferragamo shoes, hats and long necklaces. From my grandmother scarves, structured handbags, handkerchiefs and twin sets. From both my love of cashmere and silk as well as classic and understated makeup. I do agree that Angelina Jolie is lovely as are Sofia Coppola and Kelly Rutherford.
