Hello Ladies! I looked around the forum to see if I could find the answers I'm looking for, alas I couldn't. I know how annoying it is when forums get flooded with the same question, so I apologize in advance.

Yesterday, I signed up, and was immediately charged. The GB website is pretty useless, and I'm just wondering if I am getting a box, and if so, what alert system does GB use to inform you that you are getting one? I searched high and low, but couldn't find anything. If someone could explain to me where to look on the website for this information, I would be forever grateful!

Also, I'm kind of curious what you ladies think about GB. I have heard that is the best box by far. I am an Ipsy subscriber, and for the most part, I've been happy with what I've received.

Thanks!

If you click on your name where it says, Hello XXX, you will see the details.  I know when I switched to a 3 month plan, it took awhile for the order to process.

Under my subscription and orders you can click on the plan.  The next page should tell you when it will be delivered.  Mine says:

Approximate Delivery Date: Between 9/1/14 and 9/13/14

It is typical to be billed at the beginning of the month and receive the box at the end (sometimes into the next month).  This bothers folks but, as long as I get the box, I am fine with it.  I have successfully received 6 boxes.

GLOSSYBOX has been great for me because I do not have a large stash of untouched products.  Its taken the guesswork of which lotion, hair or skin care product to use.  Sizes are always generous.  Deluxe to full size.

I have to agree with Kookymama, it's typical to get charged early in the month, but then not receive the product until the end of the month. I've had several months this year where I was charged the first week, but didn't receive the box until the last day of the month, where it just barely arrived. With that said, GlossyBox is one of my favorite boxes. It's a mix of luxury sample & full size products. I have gotten some of my favorites from GB, such as a Beauty Blender & Cleaner, Skin Inc Custom Blended Brightening Serum, and Glamglow Youthmud Tingle Exfoliate Treatment. I might not be able to use everything each month, but my favorite items easily make up for the cost of the box.

Also, they have a new policy in place where you have to cancel by the 15th of the month to avoid getting charged for the next month's box, even though it's likely you won't have the current month's box by the 15th. Someone in the GB thread pointed out that if you pay with PayPal you can revoke their ability to autobill you at any time up until they actually charge you.
