Nail Art Society: Shut Down

I was alerted on another forum that someone had been billed for their August Nail Art Society box, but never received their August box. If you go to Nail Art Society's website (nailartsociety.com), you see this:



This seems to be fairly recent - if you search via Bing, there's a cached version of the Nail Art Society facebook page, which was just crawled yesterday. However, the Facebook page is now gone. Their twitter account is gone as well.

If anyone's still a subscriber around here and you were billed for your August box, I'd suggest e-mailing them ASAP - but also look into your credit card dispute process, just in case!

Oh, wow. They shut down without telling any of their subscribers at all? Tsk, tsk.

The billing might be a script that runs automatically each month and hadn't been disabled yet at the time of the billing, but if you were billed, and there is little to no staff left with the sub, it's going to be nigh impossible to get a refund. -_- /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> I'd go straight to the bank.

Also, very suspicious, such a sudden and complete disappearance... makes you wonder.
