Hoping you lovely posters can help me out.

I am looking for a nice soft plum or even a lavender blush.  I liked the color of the plum one in the Hourglass palette I swatched at Sephora but I am not sure I love the mixing of powder and blush.

My skin tone is very fair and I have dry skin that is in pretty good shape.  My hair and eyes are dark brown and I wear a C1 in MAC foundation.  I am looking for a powder blush.  I love the Nars blush formula.

I would love any suggestions you may have.

Thanks.

I'm not sure if you've tried any indie brand makeup, or care to try them, but I do have a few companies you might want to look into. Granted they don't offer pressed blushes, and they tend to be more pigmented than most mainstream brands (I usually apply the blush under my foundation). Anyway, happy hunting! :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Little Sparrow Cosmetics (she has a nice selection of purple blushes, including one called "Lavender").

Glamour Doll Eyes (Vee has a nice selection of colors to choose from, and I've had great success with all of them).

Aromaleigh Mineral Cosmetics (has a pretty wide selection of blushes on her primary site, as well as her discount site...which is where I'd look first).

For lavender - I love anna sui's mystic rose cheek blush
