Hi -

If anyone is subscribed to or curious about the new subscription box called Lilee Box, I found an unboxing video on YouTube that was posted a couple of days ago:

Hm... not really wowed by this box, to be honest...

Not a bad box; I did like the variety of items. Not worth 49 dollars for me personally, though.

But if the price were more like $25, and the type of items stayed the same... a few beauty items, a new variety of tea, simple piece of jewelry or other accessory, maybe a votive candle ...I'd be all over it.

I could totally go for a Me-time sort of thing, that would allow you to make a little ritual out of relaxing, being in the moment and just appreciating for a few minutes.

Your first box would be a mug or cup you get to choose, a candle holder you also choose, and from then on, you'd know you were getting tea and a candle of some sort, but the rest would be a surprise. This would be oe box I'd love to get really indulgent hand creams in, or essential oils, or something pampering.

Or maybe you could choose between a candle or incense. I am so in to Japanese incense at the moment and would LOVE to find a monthly sub for it, or even just a variety of incenses from anywhere.

Yes, you and JolieFleurs nailed it. It's the cost of the box that's disappointing for the items included. If there was one super special or unusual item I would have been convinced!

Yeah, while I like pretty much everything in there, it's worth maybe half of what the cost is to me. I do want that tea infuser, though!

I would sign up for a box like this in an instant!

And maybe you could choose between a candle and wax melts/tarts, between tea and hot chocolate/chai or a combo, etc. Would be perfect!

If this box ever has a big discount, I'll get it for the box itself. Adorable!

Also love the Manitea. There's also the Teatanic and a Deep Tea Diver!

I wonder if people got variations. I agree that it's a nice box, but too expensive for what you get. It may just be that I'm tired of gold jewellery though. If that item had been something else, I would have liked the box more.

It's actually quite a nice box...but for $25, like some of you have mentioned already. Nice stuff, but nothing stands out and says that it's worth the money.

Comparing it to FFF VIP, which is the same price...absolutely no comparison whatsoever to me, FFF kicks its butt.

I did sign up for this, but I'm already disappointed. This company is already off to a very rocky start. The boxes haven't even shipped yet and I've already been double billed, along with everyone else who signed up between certain dates in December. They are sending out a free $50 jewelry item with the shipment, but they are supposed to be doing that anyway since most people used the promotional code when they signed up that stated this would be included. This is not worth the price, no way is this the $200 value that was advertised. I agree FFF is way better. I haven't even received a box and I'm already working on cancelling.

Did anyone get the January box? I'm interested in subscribing but wanting to see another month or two.
