Hi all!  So we know about (and have threads for) many of the "major" indie companies.  But what about the little ones?  Have you found something that you love, and want to share?  Not sure if it's big enough for its own thread?  Throw it in here!

I'll get us started with Rituals By Nature.  They're a super-tiny indie brand that my husband's aunt (a jewelry maker) found at a local wine festival!  I got my husband their peppermint-coffee sugar cube scrubs (called "Awaken") and loved them!  My aunt loves their lip balms, and I'm dying to try their light, oil-based moisturizer called "Pegasus Feathers".  They use locally-sourced materials from the Cincinnati area, and beeswax in all their products.  And they have this fun hippie vibe!  Here's the website, and let me know about *your* favorite little indie company!

I've not seen many mention Sweet Clementine Soaps, but they were one of my first indies before I even knew indies were a "thing"....they literally make the CUTEST soaps (macarons! Brownies! And look at their actual bars) and they also have whipped soaps, lip balms, scrubs, perfume oils...

I've only tried the bar soaps but I have really liked all that I've tried.

Oh, and I haven't actually bought any yet, but I've been eyeballing SigilInspired for a few months because LOOK AT THOSE EYESHADOW SWATCHES HOLY COW. THey're from Russia. I am going to give in and order some soon, I think. I'm not sure swatches have ever made me drool so much.

This brand has popped up on IMAM a few times and some of the brand owners weighed in to say that the products look to be repackaged TKB micas with some really great photography/enhanced photos.

Wow, those products look awesome!  My daughter & I don't even know what to order first.  Thanks!

Oh dear.

In no particular order, for batha nd body and scents, I like

Bunny Butt Soaps (though I rarely order fro them nos since they discontinued their sugar scrubs... I so loved their sugar scrubs, but the rest of their products are awesome too, reasonably priced for indies, great smelling, and vegan if that kind of thing matters to you). http://bunnybuttapothecary.com/

PurplecatCreatives. They also have some great scents and wonderful sugar scrubs. https://www.etsy.com/shop/PurplecatCreatives

I'm sure I'll think of others...

Oh, someone gave me a sample of a Syberie fragrance (Antoinette...it smells so good, like caramel cake with rum and cherries) and I really love their vibe. She doesn't have nearly as large of a line as the bigger indies, but I've had pretty much all of her blends on my wishlist for a couple of months.

An Indie comany that I know others are award of, but that I have never heard anyone else ordering form that had a HG item for me is Chinovi.  Chinovi supplied a blush to a GDE OTM last year and I think I have gotten samples of their shadows through subs, not sure if it was just GDE or elsewhere.

I love their eyebrow powders.  I had been using Anastasia dip brow, but my hair has a red tint to it and the auburn never rely got my brows to look natural with my hair.  At first I used the Chinovi powder on top of the dip brow.  But lately I have been using a clear eyebrow gel that applies with a mascara type wand.  And then I put the powder on top of it for the color adjustment.  For the first time ever, I am happy with my brows color wise.

I think I saw something on the Chinovi Faecbook page about a health condition that had kept her from doing much with her company.  I most recently order in November (around Black Friday or Cyber Monday I think).  TAT was a couple of weeks I think.  I ordered some really pretty shadows, but I haven't played with them yet.

I got a Chinovi sample (Last Day) in December's OTM and it is really really beautiful...I've worn in several times since then (and that's saying something, since I have so many new shadows I haven't had a chance to wear yet).  Still kicking myself for missing their Hocus Pocus collection...definitely on my "must buy more" list.

Hmmmmm I have some but all will be revealed later lol. Off the top of my head:

Xplosive Cosmetix had the fastest shipping I've seen outside of GDE. Products aren't my FAVORITES but they're good, and fast.

A couple of old goats on etsy were also fast. I didn't actually try their stuff as it was a gift, and my free sample was muscle relaxing cream and I haven't been sore. But I imagine them being a cute old couple who makes lotion from their goat farm so I think that's cute.

Retro creams and perfumes was fairly fast and their stuff smells good. Pumpkin pecan waffles smells exactly, like dead on, to FCS sparky, which I love so I'll continue to buy from her.

Dusk cosmetics was also super fast and cute presentation. Again didn't use it as it was a gift but no ordering issue and the colors looked pretty!

Wow, these look stunning! I'm not really into wearing that much sparkle, but I just want to sit here and look at these

Yeah this topic is doom... I desperately want BOTH the disney princess and princess bride collections now :p /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Also Organic Skin Shop on Etsy, I have only tried their teeth whitening mask and it is black in the tub and the most terrifying thing ever when you first use it but I really like it, it doesn't taste bad at all (this coming from a girl who hates 99% of veggies), and my mouth genuinely feels cleaner than when I use toothpaste.

Has anyone tried dusk cosmetics? I just saw some really pretty collections on etsy and they have really cute little label art.

I have not tried them myself, but I have ordered from them for a gift exchange. I had no issues with my order, everything came wrapped up very cute, and they shipped extremely fast. Hope that helps a little!

All these vendors are on Etsy.

Serpentspirall  – Makes the best dupes for Nars The Multiple that I have found, and they smell like Mm-mm-mm chocolate! TAT is super-quick—typically four days from date of order to my mailbox, and we are on opposite sides of the country.

Mojospa  – HUGE lip gloss pots, excellent-quality perfume oils, long-wearing lip tints, and delicious bath salts. TAT was around eight days, but then I ordered around Christmas so that might have slowed things down just slightly.

Pink Bow Boutique – The best thing about Amy is that when you have an inquiry, she is immediate in following up on it—I have never had to wait more than half an hour for a response to any question. Her products are great too—if you like Jo Malone’s Lime Basil Mandarin, I urge you to check out the Pink Bow version. Her TAT is around 2 weeks, I have never had to wait longer.

A Wing and a Prayer – Artisanal perfumes of the highest quality. They have a very “classic” feel to them, like something you can imagine an old-school film diva wearing back in the black-and-white heyday. They are a little on the pricey side, but there are great specials—I bought a set of three 1/8 oz sprays for $15.

Etherealle – Inexpensive mineral makeup. Great package deals and some of the best lipstick I have found from an indie.

Erzulie Cosmetics – Very fast TAT. She has something called Goddess Glow, a pink and slightly-shimmery lotion which will perk up tired skin without turning your face into a disco ball. I use it in place of base and love it. There are also great-quality lip-and-cheek colors and eye pencils.
