Hi there!! Just curious whether there may be any company out there launching a similar shopping experience as with Little Black Bag. Since it merged with Posed I have missed it bitterly. I am not sure whether it was a profitable or sustainable business model, but for sure it was great fun, I used to open a bag almost every week. Any updates anyone?

I don't know of any, but I miss it too. It was my favourite thing to do if I was sick in bed. It was the best distraction, swapping stuff all day when I couldn't do anything else. And there's nothing like getting a box with a retail value over $300 for $18. I can see why that obviously wasn't sustainable for them though.

It's not the same really, but the swap section on My Subscription Addiction is fun. (I believe registration will open again in a couple of weeks.) It's similar in the sense of putting out offers and waiting for acceptances... but that wasn't exactly the most fun part about LBB.

I'm actually kind of glad it's gone.  I only discovered it towards the end.  I spent too much money there.

Now that I have had some of the jewelry for awhile, I have discovered that a lot of it is really poor quality.  Tons of stones falling off, etc.  And then there was the time they shorted me a pair of shoes and took two weeks to even acknowledge the problem, let alone remedy the situation.

I agree, it was kind of fun to trade.  I got some purses (enough that I don't really know how to store them all) and some shoes that I really like.  But I am probably better off -- financially -- without the site.

I didn't join in until the last 4-5 months, because I didn't really get what the big deal was at first. Once I got the hang of it though, I was ADDICTED. Like, painfully addicted like nothing else has ever done to me LOL.

I agree that some of the jewelry I received from them was very poorly made, but I still have some pieces that I got from them that I still wear regularly and they're going strong! Plus the handbags were almost always perfection!

I think their problem was their poor customer service. They lasted quite a long time, and from the gossip I heard in the chat, the owner seemed to make a pretty penny while it was open and active. I have actually searched for substitutes myself and haven't been able to find anything remotely comparable. :( /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Although- If there were products you remember lusting after, check ebay!! I've looked for specific bags and/or brands on there and purchased bags for incredibly cheap that way that I wasn't ever able to trade for on LBB! ;) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I randomly checked Pose today and it's gone back to being a site for fashion photos. I checked their facebook and they haven't updated since the first, whereas before it looks like they were updating every day or two. I'm not surprised, but it's a shame that LBB closed in favour of a plan that didn't work out anyway.

2019 and I am still hoping someone will open a new version of lbb. The customer service was definitely the problem. They couldn't manage things right. If it were to reopen with the same management, I would stay away. I still hope someone else will open it up, though...
