Hi ladies,
I work for a Salon proffesional distributor in NY and we are currently seeking sales Women/Men that will lead the sales devolpment of current and new clients.
The prospects in this industry are huge and for a person who loves beauty, educating and talking beauty this job will not only be fun; but allow you to have a VERY LUCARATIVE career as well.
As an Outside Sales Representative you will maximize sales by maintaining and expanding a customer base through market analysis, sales of approved beauty products, introducing new products and concepts, providing customer service, conducting product education and offering retail consulting services to professional beauty salons, men's grooming salons, licensed stylists, nail technicians and beauty supply stores for certain lines.
Compensation:
This is a commission-based sales career with the option of salary + commission after the evaluation period has passed. (High Commissions Offered aswell as residuals) We also offer generous discounts on all of our products. As the company expands and grows we will be offering other employement perks and benefits,
Primary functions & efforts required (Outside Sales Representative):
*Develop sales, marketing, promotion and education plans by product and concept based on customer history
*Conduct territory analysis and organization by developing the most efficient coverage pattern for the territory as well as sales call frequency for major accounts, consistent with marketing plans
*Responsible for the service and sales development of your accounts.
*Establish major account sales call reporting customer profile cards that accurately outline marketing, sales and merchandising strategy levels in each major account
*Utilize sales cold-calling techniques to generate new customer
Job Requirements
*At least 1 year of previous outside sales experience in the sales of both tangible products and associated services
*Valid driver's license with reliable transportation as position requires considerable amount of driving.
*Computer literate, preferably Windows-based programs for laptop/IPad order entry, email, Microsoft Outlook and Excel (Quick books a plus)
*Working knowledge of retail sales, inventory control systems and visual sales merchandising is strongly preferred
Other Skills (Outside Sales Representative):
*Strong communication and presentation skills
*Highly organized and experienced in working independently
*Capable of effectively and comfortably speaking before groups of people
*Ability to lift 15 lbs periodically
*Cosmetology license or Beauty Industry experience helpful
