Hi my friend also faced the same problem of oily skin then she tried Dermpura  a clinically proven facial cleanser which helps to vanish dead cells on the skin and also give a oil free glowing skin. You may try this.

I've heard on so many places that Lemon Juice works on oily skin . Here is the method :

- Mix one teaspoon of fresh lemon juice with one-half teaspoon of distilled water. Apply it on your skin using a cotton ball. Leave it on for 10 minutes and then wash your face with warm water. Lemon juice can dry out your skin, so apply some oil-free moisturizer afterward.  ( Do this once daily. )

- Mix one tablespoon of lemon juice, one-half tablespoon of honey and one tablespoon of milk. Apply this paste on your face and leave it on for 10 to 15 minutes before washing it off with cold water. ( If done once daily ), this remedy will give you positive results within few weeks.

Good Luck.

Not to be negative, but even though lemon juice is a very common at-home treatment, it is actually way too acidic for skin as its pH is at about 2. Applying this to your face causes problems with the natural acid mantle on your skin, thus irritating it and potentially making your skin oilier in the long run.

Also, any type of citrus makes the skin photosensitive, so you need to be way more cautious of the sun if you use it, as your skin will most likely burn easier.

Thanks for this info. I will take more care when handling citric fruit and make sure I wash before going out in the sun

Steps to prevent / reduce oily skin
  1. Stop washing your face so much.
  2. Use lukewarm water.
  3. Use facial care products.
  4. Use oil-free moisturizers and sun-screen.
  5. Drink plenty of water.
  6. Use a gentle facial scrub twice a week.
  7. Reduce your intake of sugar, salt, and fried food.
  8. Eat healthy foods.

Yogurt is one of the best home remedies for oily face, because it contains lactic acid, which can aid in exfoliating the skin. Apply 1 tbsp. of plain yogurt on your face. Let the yogurt stay on your face for 15 minutes and then wash with cool water. Do this process once a day.

I use Aveeno cleansing wipes every night, follow up with oras amazing herbal face oil (only a couple drops), Ora's Amazing Herbal face powder scrub in the shower, and make sure I get my water in.
