Hey everyone. New here!

Im 32 years old and i been breaking out a lot. Im 9 weeks pregnant too so thats probably why. I have been having dry flaky skin. Every time i put on foundation you can see patches of dry skin. Kinda like dandruff falling off. or looks like dried up toothpaste Lol

I am not one of those that wear primers, highlighters and all that. To be honest no idea how to put that stuff on so i dont wear a ton of makeup. Only when i go out all day and its usually Foundation. The two i been using is Benefits Hello flawless oxygen wow and the E.L.F Studio tinted moisturizer Spf 20...

sometimes i will use the benefits pore fessional on before foundation but either way nothing seems to make my face flawless. I do have ELF primers and LA girl primers but they dont seem to work either. Every time i put on makeup my face is always dry and flaky.

So im here for help. What can i do? I have Thayers witch hazel cucumber that i use to clean my face and Boots botanics shine away mattifying cleansing mouse. I dont own any moisturizers or anything. I am hoping for some natural/vegan recommendations for skincare. I have sensitive skin and i have noticed YES to carrots cucumber wipes burn my face!

Welcome to MUT and congratulations on your pregnancy! A pregnancy can change a skin a lot. My sensitive combo skin came dry with one of the pregnancies. I resorted to using a heavy moisturizer and using a scrub once or twice a week. It helped my skin a lot. I've tried the YES to carrots wipes and one of them burned my skin also (I can't remember which one). I use the Boots NO7 Beautiful skin wipes and they don't irritate the skin. The wipes are just a bit rougher in texture than other wipes I've used but it seems to work better for cleansing the skin and exfoliating a bit at the same time. Mattifying primers can make the skin more dry especially if you don't use a moisturizer. Boots has some nice moisturizers. Their organic line is great. Also Burts and Bees is good. Target now also carries Korean Laneige brand which is great also. Hope this helps and hope others can chime in too. :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20">

Thanks for responding! I have 4 kids already and i dont remember too much getting acne. I actually had no acne Lol. But i do and have always had Dry Skin and sometimes it feels itchy. I wont touch Burts bees or anything thats been tested on animals or bought by colgate. I used to buy from burts bees but not anymore. I ended going on Sephora and bought First Aid beauty face cleanser, First aid ultra repair cream and first aid beauty anti-redness serum. I got my ipsy bag today with the Vasanti brightenUp! and it felt so nice after. im going to use it until there is no more and if it works i may have to buy it for $34 Lol

Thanks for the tips on the boots wipes. I may need to stop by target thursday and pick one up. I never heard of Korean Laneige. By the way, i mentioned i have no clue on how to apply bronzer, highlight, eye shadows. Would it be a good idea to go to Macys and ask one of the girls there to help?

I didn't know that about Burts and Bees. Thanks for the info. Seems like my skin did different things with all my pregnancies but maybe it was also part of getting older too. :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20"> Glad you found something at Sephora. The Vasanti is great. It works really well. I saw it at my local Costco on sale and the price was way better than the regular price (can't remember how much) but I ended up not buying it because I have too many products as it is. Sephora people would be able to show you how to use bronzer, highlighter and eye shadows. Macys would work too. MAC counters are excellent for makeup artist advise.

Yea we just dont have a Actual Sephora store. we have a small sephora inside Jcpenney. the closest is 45 mins away! Maybe if i see it at costco thursday they may have it. I never check there beauty aisle or anything but food and some home stuff because i always think they carry some cheap stuff. I tend to buy stuff thats Animal Cruelty free.

When you have flaky, itchy, dry skin, you want fast relief. Easing your dry skin isn't just about what you put on it. It also depends on how you clean your skin , the air around you, and even your clothe. Wash with a soapless cleanser when you shower. You might also consider a cleanser that contains ceramides. They help skin hold in moisture.

Hi aeroslove with your diet and all the advice given above I am sure your skin will be back to normal in no time.  I use Monsia Skincare and there are two ingredients, shea butter & jojoba oil that I know my skin loves. I use jojoba oil to remove my mascara but before bed once I have applied the toner and the intense night repair cream I also add a few drops of jojoba oil around my eyes, neck and forehead. It is not oily but it is soothing.
