So I'm a teenager and very interested in makeup, I one day hope to possibly become a makeup artist, although right now I just want to master the basics. I only have a few real techniques and Sonia kashuk brushes but I'm hoping to buy new brushes and create an entire collection. I really don't know a whole lot about brushes so I was hoping for help. There's the sigma complete kit for $411 ($369 with my coupon) it contains 29 brushes and has basically everything I need right now, but I really have no idea if that kit is worth the price and if they really deserve the hype. I know that Sephora has a complete kit that is a little over $500. Or is there any other complete kits that you know of that you'd invest in yourself? Or even better, would you have any suggestions on great brushes to make up a complete kit? Btw, I'm hoping to spend $500 or less but if it's a tiny bit over than that's ok. And if I'm going to spend this much then I want like 25+ brushes like the Sigma and Sephora complete kits. If I'm spending this much I want everything I could need.

Hi! Welcome to MUT! I think the Sigma might be better than the Sephora kit. I've found that some Sephora brushes are great and and some aren't so it's hard to say if the set would be worth it. Hope others will share their thoughts too.
