Hi guys,

So I'm in need of some everyday eye makeup look, something that will bring out my eyes without being too over the top. I usually try a thin line of either liquid or kohl eyeliner on the top, white or beige kohl liner in the lower water line and mascara on the top and bottom lashes (my bottom lashes are really short so it always looks bad) and a bit of light brown eye shadow on the eyelids.

I find that my method doesn't really bring out my already small eyes at all and tends to look bad, so wondering if anyone had any suggestions for me.

I attached a link to a pic of myself without eye makeup D:

I'm terrible with makeup

It's not my forte xD

Thanks in advance!

Hi!

You're beautiful! You really don't need makeup. :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20"> If you just use mascara on the lower lids instead of a liner, it will make the eyes appear bigger or using a lighter shadow to line the bottom also helps to make the eyes pop. Also you can add a bit darker shade than the all over shadow color in the crease and soften the eye liner on the top with the same shadow.  Hope this helps and hope others have suggestions for you too.

Here is a video by MAC about how to apply eye shadow for a beautiful, natural look.

I used to put white/beige liner on my upper lashline but tightline with black kohl, and people would comment all the time about how massive my eyes looked. I would also suggest a bright, white shimmery shade in the inner corners always makes them look bigger. Avoid liquid/gel winged liner as it's too harsh and I feel that makes the eye look smaller and more feline. To make the eyes appear  bigger, use lots of girly/pink bright shades. Avoid harsh winged liner and smokey eyes.
