Does anyone subscribe to Candy Club? I saw on Facebook that they're having a promo, and signed up to at least try one box (the promo was $20 off the first box). Is the candy particular good or nothing special? Worth the price (be it monthly or yearly)? Thoughts?

I signed up to try this one out.  I'm not a huge fan of sour candy and from the reviews I read there is at least one sour candy in each box.  My kids like sour stuff though so my plan is to give that to them and hide the stuff I like better lol.  With the $20 coupon code it was less than $14 to give it a try for a month.

 
I've never tried this one, although I have read reviews about it which have been mixed. I do subscribe to 30 Days of Candy and have to say I'm very impressed, lots of variations in the candy.

Sorry Reija! I am trying to cut back as well, but I picked this one up last month. My husband and I have had such fun trying candy from different countries. I also like that none of the bags are more than 100 to 150 calories, you get enough to try but not to over indulge! I think it's great that no matter when you start, you begin with the same box....so you never miss out no matter when you join. Ok, enough enabling right! The Candy Club candy is fine. You *definitely* have to like sour candies, though. It's also a TON of candy. Which for $30 it should be. 

I still think $30 is too much to spend on candy per month though. And I just cant eat it fast enough.

Each box is sent in a specific order, so every one gets the same first box. The second box is the same for everyone. They don't do a monthly box with a theme. You just get them in order.

The first box will always be... let me see.... Sour Strawberry strips, cotton candy salt water taffy, techno Haribo bears and sour jelly beans.  They might not be strawberry strips, they might be cherry. I can't remember. :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

 
Well.  I tried this, didn't like it because I'm not a sour candy fan, attempted to cancel online but their website wouldn't let me log on, emailed them about canceling, got an email back acknowledging that I wanted to cancel and offering a non-sour variety of box, and then got charged for this month.  I am not happy.  There is no where on their site to even attempt to cancel online any more so now you have to call or email.  I emailed them with the email trail showing that I canceled right after getting the first box.  Hopefully they will let me send it back and not make me go through my credit card to dispute the charge. 

 
I hope you get your money back, what a mess. This is why I won't subscribe to anything that doesn't allow an online cancel option, I have had too many issues when it's the type you have to email. At least they have a phone number, that's better than just email. The last company I canceled didn't respond until I posted on their facebook wall, after sending them 3 emails. Good luck!

 
Just an update on my cancelation woes.  They were able to refund my card and cancel the subscription for good.  Even though I wasn't crazy about the candy they sent, they do have good customer service.
