Glossybox trying to win back old subscribers?

So a weird thing happened to me... I cancelled my Glossybox over 2 years ago and the last week got a shipping notif (to my old address, sigh). After a disastrous attempt at working with their customer service, I was told that it was a free box to entice me to subscribe again and "see what I'd been missing." 

Anyone else hear of this happening? it was all super bizarre.. they didn't confirm my address first, didn't send me any sort of heads up.. who knows if I will even get one, though I did give them my new address and got an email that they updated it on my account.
