Birchbox is releasing its own makeup brand according to this article by Fast Company. This was posted in the Birchbox thread as well (thank you @@Bizgirlva for the info) but I thought we'll make a dedicated thread for discussing this makeup line. I would assume we will get to try these products in our boxes in the near future. The line is called LOC (love of color) and the product sizes are smaller so that there is not as much waste and the colors can follow the trends more closely. I'm really interested in this concept because I hardly ever end up using up my makeup before buying other ones or new colors. It would be nice to buy a trendy color in a smaller version so I wouldn't feel so bad if I didn't use it all up and/or I might be able to get it used up before new colors are released. I think the concept is really interesting. Thoughts?

The eye crayon came! It was really easy to apply and the color pay off is great. I can't wait to try other shades now. I also cross posted about this in the BB november thread. Here is a picture of the one I had ordered.

I finally got the lipstick I had ordered. I like the shade I got (first kiss). I'm realizing though that matte lipsticks don't really work for me even with moisturizing the lips first. My lips just look too wrinkled. Matte lipsticks are all the rage now but I've tried a few different ones now and still don't like them as much as traditional lipsticks.

I am with you, matte lips make my lips look dead! I wish the super shiny-high gloss moisturizing lipstick was a trend instead! Especially with these colder months....

I love Tati though and I am super excited for this collaboration! Can't wait to try this product in my Birchbox this month!

These are pretty tiny, but the quality is good. If anyone got the Bobbi Brown shadow stick 100pt perk from Sephora a couple of months ago - the lip crayons are the EXACT same packaging and size. Most likely made from the same manufacturer. Considering sales and points - these are a fair price.

I tried eye shadow stick from curated box and it's nice! Color is great and it stays longer without creasing then Eyko fat stick. I like it :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I had to buy one of the trios because my eyesticks won't fit in any of my sharpeners. It would have been nice if they gave the option to purchase the sharpener alone.

@@Reija I totally agree with you!! I am not a huge fan of totally matte lipsticks either! I have to add a gloss or something haha. However, I really do like the Ofra liquid lipsticks. That is the only matte formula I have found that doesn't feather on me or fade weird (I hate when lipsticks do that)!

Oh wow! I wonder if anyone else has picked up on this, thanks for the good find!

Now if only they put the eye shadows in the sticks as well instead of the dreaded dry pencils...

I got the on point in my birchbox and I really like it. However, on me, it is more gold and not really pinkish like I was hoping for. But it is still pretty. I plan on buying the Impress me one too.

I am hoping they make a glossy lip product as I don't like matte lippies.

I'm wearing the on point pencil again today. I used it as a base and layered UD Naked shadows on top. 5 hours later and there is no fading. I'm really impressed with the quality for the price.

Good idea about trying it as a base/primer for other shadows! I need to try that. It doesn't budge, that is for sure. They feel a tad heavy on my lids but I can deal with that since they wear so well. It is a tradeoff.

I had the whole set - lips and eyes - and ended up tossing all of the lip pencils beside the nude one. The only reason I kept that one is sometimes I like a nude highlight in the middle of my bottom lip; I'd never wear it on its own.

The lippies just were too drying and faded in patches whenever I ate or drank anything. I don't like to babysit my lipstick and I really hate that peeling lip feeling.

I really like the eye pencils. I bought one of the trio kits... rise and shine, I think it was called. Anyway, I think they are good quality, and I appreciate the small size.

although I like on the point, I do NOT like the Impress me shade. It is not a flattering color on me. I hope they come out with more colors though as I do like the staying power of these. I hope they come out with a light pink and a lavender color.
