Hi all!! I just joined! How are you? Where are you from? I am from Puerto Rico!

Now, for the serious stuff. Aside from lip balms, and some hard to find lip scrubs, do you know of any lip treatment? A good, proven and guaranteed lip treatment? I have a secret to share, but would love to hear from you first! :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Fun facts about lips:

They're made of two things: muscle and the thinnest skin on your body. "Your lips are more susceptible to sun damage than any other part of your body," says Amy Wechsler, a dermatologist in New York City.

They never perspire, and they can never get a pimple. That's because your lips don't have any sweat or oil glands. (Every other square inch of your skin—except for the palms of your hands and the soles of your feet—has oil glands.) This is why lips can get chapped even in warm weather and are so easily irritated, even by saliva: They lack the protective benefits of natural oils.

Along with nipples, lips have the highest density of nerve endings of any area on the body, says Wechsler. That explains why they're an erogenous zone and, OK, so does one other thing: "The skin on your lips is actually a type of skin called mucosa," says Joshua Zeichner, a dermatologist in New York City. That's the same skin that you find, um, below the belt. (Source: Allure)

That is a classic! I hope that info is not new to anyone. I have never tried that scrub, though. Sounds sticky...

Want to share something that works wonders for me, making my lips smooth, healthy and welcoming to lipstick and lipgloss.

One of the best kept secrets: BeautiControl Lip Appel. Beauticontrol's Lip Apeel leaves your lips soft and silky by exfoliating dead skin cells. Use following these two steps: 1. Use the special exfoliator to remove dry skin and minimize the appearance of lines 2. Apply the lip balm to moisturize and soothe for extra-soft, kissable lips.

I can help you get a hold of one, if interested. www.beautipage.com/dorliska

I also just joined :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> I like to use shea butter or a natural oil such as almond oil or argan oil. They all work really well. Especially during the winter months.

Hi! I also just joined.  :flowers:

I use brown sugar mixed with coconut oil to exfoliate. Makes my lips so soft & silky! For moisture, recently I've been using the EOS lip balms. They work great & I love the flavors.

+1 for Vaseline. Best stuff for taking care about lips. Also drink enough of water daily(3 l minimum) and don't lick your lips as saliva drys them.
