I apologize if I posted this in the wrong section, but today I just bought a Beautyblender and was wondering how on earth do I clean this I saw some video on youtube so I have a idea how but was wondering can I use conditioner to clean my beautyblender? I will be using it tomorrow for the first time should I clean it first with shampoo/conditioner or I could just wet it? Also how often should I clean this once a week or every time I use I should clean right after? Please help and thank you so much

Hi! Welcome! You can just wet the beautyblender and use it like that straight away. I rinse mine out right after using with a mild cleaner or brush cleaner. I've used baby shampoo before to clean my brushes and sponges. I have brush cleaners that I use now but if you don't have a brush cleaning solution you can use a mild soap to clean it and rinse it out. Hope this helps.

I recommend purchasing their proprietary Beautyblender cleaning solution and follow the directions.

Yeah mild soaps will work in the short term but the blender will degrade overtime. Also @@Reija made some great points, but remember to let the blender air dry in a well lit place so that no mold will grow inside the blender.
