I'm 20 years old.. My skin is very damaged from the sun, tanning beds, acne, and maybe harsh products.. My skin was pretty perfect up until I had my baby. Even throughout my pregnancy I had very nice skin.. I used tanning beds a few weeks after having a bang and it like destroyed my skin.. I never had blotchy uneven red skin until then.. (Sun spots, redness, easily sun burnt, thinner skin, blotchy, acne marks m) It's almost a. Year later and my skin isn't any better.. Why did this happen, what can i do??

Welcome to MUT! Skin care changes are very common during and after pregnancy. My skin was very different through out and after all my pregnancies. It's hormones that cause it. After pregnancy too it takes a long time for the hormones to balance themselves out. Finding a good skin care regimen and sticking with it will help. There are products you can use for the brown spots which is many times referred to as the pregnancy mask. Target carries the Boots brand which is great. The line has a spot corrector that might be worth checking out http://m.target.com/p/Boots%20No7%20Beautiful%20Skin%20Rapid%20Blemish%20Rescue%20-%20.51%20oz/-/A-14227722

Try this mix It's very useful for the skin , especially after giving birth.

Ingredients: (one tablespoon of yogurt) and a (quarter teaspoon of tea leaves) and (instant yeast)

Put the mask on your skin for a quarter of an hour, then rinse with cold water.

I believe The reason is the is Exposure to harsh and drying chemicals products , you should stop using them or at least pay a visit to your near skin doctor and he will know what to do .

Here are some few Ways to help you Encourage Skin Repair :

Eat more vitamin-C-rich foods : like citrus fruits , healthy greens ....

Eat more protein : such as fish, lean meats, eggs, tofu, beans, and nuts. , protein is know for rebuilding cells.

Drink more water

Exercise at least 2 times a week ( you can start with easy and simple exercises on you-tube ) and Try meditation.

Good luck repairing your skin

Don't worry dear. Firstly, you should drink at least 3 to 4 liter water in a day. Water is one of the best beauty resource for our body. You take some healthy food like fruits, green vegetables, milk, fish. Secondly, you can go to the beauty salon and will use some beauty service. A few years ago the same thing happened to me then I went to The Nail Place. I got radiant skin with their excellent service.

Will this mask help with age spots/melanin buildup? Does it have to be a specific sort of tea leaves?
