I ran across this DIY egg mask recipe on IG by Kate Somerville and wanted to pass it on to anyone who might be interested in trying it.

Egg white masks are great! I always mix it with oats, which helps reduce inflammation and redness too.
My Indian friends add manuka honey to the egg white and swear by it. Me I just use aloe vera gel, it isn't a face mask but it seem to tighten skin and softens it and I don't need to wash it off.

This is a great home remedy for blackheads and you can do this using additional layers, it works best like this:

Wash your face. Dry your face patting it and after apply a thin layer of egg white on your skin. Place a tissue or a strip of toilet paper on the egg white, gently pressing it on your face. Wait for the first layer to dry and after that apply a second one over the tissue. Let this layer dry, and optionally apply a third one.

When the mask dries it will probably feel tight. Don't worry this is normal. Peel off the tissue and wash your face gently in order to remove any residue left. Dry your face and use your usual moisturizer. Careful: You should let the layers dry or else it will not work.
