Need your makeup organization tips!

I'm always looking for ways to organize my makeup but feel like I'll never find the perfect solution. 

My main issue: I have a TON of crap (like I'm sure we all do...) and I forget about most of it because I have it tucked away in drawers that I never really use! 

I have a small apartment in NYC, so I don't have TONS of space obviously... but I'm just wondering, have any of you found any foolproof makeup storage methods? Whether it's for the bathroom or bedroom.. I think if I found a proper way of organizing, I'd use all of my products more often!

I'am a pretty organized OCD type of  person so everything in my closet is in color order and alike things are put together.I have all my nail polishes lined by color it looks like a rainbow but I do these sorts of things so its easier to find / see what you have right away so you wont have to search for something.

Pinterest has some good organization ideas for closets to makeup to nail polish I would check that out.personally I put things in storage cases or boxes.You can even buy those things at walmart / target for pretty cheap.

Use clear plastic cabinets, drawers, and storage bins. Wal-Mart is your best bet to find all three versions of these and in different sizes for your needs.
