Has anyone tried or have the Chanel Les Beiges healthy glow foundation? I just tried a sample and all I can say is wow. I'll definitely get the full size in the near future. The finish is flawless. It doesn't look cakey or settle in the lines. This would be a perfect foundation for summer. This definitely rivals my ultimate favorite Guerlain De Peau foundation.

I read reviews on this makeup, and for those that don't have dry skin it seems to give a flawless finish. However reading blogs with those with dry skin, this doesn't seem to be a good match as it emphasized those areas, so I think I'll give this a pass. I'm so sad, total foundation junkie, but I don't want to spend money on something that probably won't work for me. Glad it works for you Reija!!

That's a bummer @LadyGordon. I wonder if it would go on better for people with dry skin if it's mixed with a drop of a skin care oil? I've noticed that even though I have a combo skin, I need to use a very heavy moisturizer under a foundation for it to go on smoothly and evenly. I really like Clarins Multi active cream for all skin types because it's heavy and it seems to give a really smooth base for a foundation. They have a new formula now though and I haven't tried it yet. I hear that it's not as good as the old formula. I still have a while to go before my current jar is empty so it will be a while before I'll try the new one.

That's a good idea with the skin care oil. I sometimes use Smashbox's oil primer and that may help as well. I moisturize my skin quite a bit, using the Korean beauty routine and that has really helped. I'll have to try the Clarins, that sounds like it would work really well applying before my foundation. I may give the Chanel a try then!

Thank you Reija for helping me with my foundation addiction  :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />
