MAC has a new Trolls collection out. Here are the details.

Wow what a nice playful packaging

I was excited about the trolls because I grew up as a kid with troll dolls and was familar with the troll doll craze.I think I had one with hot pink hair and for some reason I would put them in the freezer in a cup of water lol and then take them out maybe they changed colors or something who knows lol.But I just saw the collection on their site and I wasnt too crazy about it.I think they could of really made some cool colors and even did some holographic or neon products or one of a kind changing color makeup depending on your body temperature or mood or something like that ... but after seeing the collection I think it just lacks creativity they could of done soo much more to this to make it amazing.I will not be buying any of it .

I don't really understand why they have a hair color spray thing. They are a makeup brand, not hair so I don't trust this new hair thing. I love the look of the blue lipstick so I will definitely be buying it haha it looks like such a fun thing to put on for a change. But I agree with the comment above, they could have done a lot better with this. The packaging is cute though.

It's tough for a makeup brand out there ladies. Lol I think they were trying to skirt the line between making really fun, out there, bold colors and still making a lot of their items wearable. If they did all bold, neon, or "out there" colors, they would take their customer base waaaay down. A lot of women out there are afraid to go for colors of that nature, and so I bet they wanted to include a decent amount of "wearable" shades. I know what you're going to say lol..."They have their regular collection for that." Well, for the every day woman that wants to try something "out of the box", this is something fun and different, to them. Even the more wearable shades in this collection may be a bit wild and crazy for women that don't wear bold looks that often. So, I really think they were just trying to relate to both sides of the makeup wearing spectrum. I think they did a good job. Even "vanilla" ladies want some new collections every now and then lol.

I think compamies should be more out of the bkx like you are saying...

I love crazy colours

Well Trolls are weird lol so I just cant see a woman whos afraid of color being oh lemme buy this troll lipgloss and see how it goes I hope its not too crazy lol the person buying this wouldnt be someone like that.They could of gone all out and really did an amazing collection but they just didnt go there like I said it had possibiities but in the end it wasnt that great.If you look at some of the most popular makeup items people want they are different they are not playing it safe and people want a product that is unique and different and not boring / normal all the time.

I feel like all of the MAC collections are pretty bland they really need to do something about the thought process and creativity behind their collections.MAC plays it safe.People buy from indie brands partly because they want something different and they will always have die hard MAC fans but I'am sure they lose millions based on a boring product to begin with.I'am not saying their is anything wrong with being boring and predictable but I think every now and then people want something thats different.
