Man here, completely lost

I have no idea what I'm doing, I only joined because I need some help picking out a gift for my wife. I tried reading some beauty blogs, and they all just keep telling me different things. I though maybe coming in to a forum would help, but this place is un-navigable for me. I'm sure I'll eventually find the right part of the forum to ask my question. so I won't ask it here unless I get desperate.
