Can anyone suggest the best primer + foundation to use that will actually apply nicely to my nose. Currently using a mac primer and mac studio fix foundation but its just not applying and staying on my nose.

I find primers so frustrating to use. So many of them make my foundation separate. Many times the foundation looks way better on my skin without a primer. I just use a setting powder and spray and get good results. I do like the Smashbox primer spray though. It's a primer that works well and it's silicone free. I also notice that if I don't exfoliate regularly my skin doesn't do well with foundation even with foundation that normally looks good. I know it's time to exfoliate if my foundation starts to look not even anymore.

I had the same problem with primer on my nose, and I tried many products till I discovered Sephora Ultra-smoothing primer. I just love it.

Altough, I use it when I put my full coverage foundation, not when applying CC cream.

I used to have issues with foundation separating on my nose or not applying properly i have dry skin with oily t zone.. but its fine now and I use either bare minerals primer or L'Oreal infallible primer.. and the foundation i use depends on they day and what I feel like. but all of these have worked for me dior airflash, laura mercier mineral powder, Catrice hd liquid coverage, bare minerals original, Estee Lauder double wear, YSL touche eclat, gerda spillmann bio fond,Loreal infallible matte. but for best staying power go for double wear, Catrice or the Loreal. and set it with whatever powder you use and you should be fine.

I had the same problem. Now, I am using Under Cover Agent Oil Control Primer  by Iman Cosmetics.
