ight so i have a problem with my nose + foundation. every time i go in with foundation on my nose, and this shit only happens to my nose, it separates and flakes off and it looks like my nose is incredibly dry. the thing with me, is my nose is more on the oilier side, but it has some dry patches around my nostrils. but point is, it looks fucking gross and its just not cute. i dont know what to do because im almost always left with a face beat for the gods and a red nose. does anybody knows why this happens? please help!!

Do you use a primer? Primers can help. Also have you tried different moisturizers? Sometimes skin care products can interfere with the foundation. Also exfoliation is important. Do you use a face scrub or mask regularly?

This happens to me too and exfoliating the problem areas really helps! Also what are you using to apply foundation, a brush or a sponge?

yeah, i use mary kay's spf 15 primer and i've switched moisturizers. but the same thing always happens. and i always try to use an exfoliating mask once a week, but i'm thinking about getting pore strips.

well, i usually go on with the real techniques beauty sponge and occasionally a flat foundation brush, but the result is always the same :( /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> i do use an exfoliating face mask once a week but nothing really changes with my nose

Have you tried it without the primer? Sometimes the primer/foundation don't work together.

That happened to me once, my primer I was using regularly just didn't suit with my new foundation. Not sure why is that, there are just some combos that aren't compatible.
