I usually apply a night cream (Era Orgnaics 10 in 1) and either some argan oil or clean and clear to acne spots (alternating between the two daily) and wakeup with a relatively oily face (tho acne tends to diminish a bit by morning).

In the morning, I'm debating whether I should just do a plain water splash of lukewarm water before putting moisturizer on OR if I should do a quick face wash (I use Dr. Bronner 4 in 1 for body and face and hair) and then put on moisturizer?

I always do a face wash with Dr. Bronner in the evening or night after working out and want to keep things as natural as possible (and ppl have recommended reducing the number of face washes actually reduces oil production/may be better in the long run).

PS. Two times weekly I exfoliate with and Era Organics product and use Orogins Charcoal mask in addition to the regular face wash!

I have very oily skin as well. I would use a very gentle cleanser. It can be a gel cleanser or milk cleanser. I use Sjal Balans and Drunk Elephent Jelly Cleanser. I usually alternate between these depending on if I wear makeup after. The Sjal cleanser is non-foaming and super gentle if my skin is oily and angry.

Do you wash once or twice a day?

I figure Dr. Bronner's is also pretty gentle, no?

I have used this face wash once in a day only and it has really worked on my skin. If you feel that it is bringing results in one time use only then why to prefer for the second time.

  1. Water Splash: If you feel that your skin doesn't require deep cleansing in the morning and you're concerned about over-washing, a simple splash of lukewarm water followed by moisturizer could be sufficient. This can help refresh your skin without stripping away its natural oils.
  2. Gentle Cleanser: If you prefer a bit more cleansing in the morning, you could opt for a gentle cleanser like the Dr. Bronner's 4 in 1. However, since you're already using this product in the evening, you might want to consider diluting it to reduce its potency for morning use. Diluting the cleanser can help prevent over-stripping the skin and disrupting its natural balance.
