I am currently looking for the perfect foundation for my problematic skin. I have several skin issues: dryness and dehydration, redness, cystic acne, hormonal acne, visible texture, etc. I'm looking for a medium-full coverage foundation that will hydrate my skin, cover up my acne and inflammation, but won't clog my pores and cause more breakouts. My skin is not extremely sensitive but I can be very picky about what it does or doesn't like, so the more natural, the better. Price range -- I'd like to not go over $65. O recently tried the Josie Maran Vibrancy foundation with Argan oil, and while that was nice and it definitely moisturized my skin, it was way too oily.

My absolutely favorite foundation is Guerlain Lingerie. The coverage is great and the texture is light. Even when applied with fingers which is what I do sometimes when I don't have time, it still looks great. A little powder on top and it's perfect. I'm currently loving the Cover FX powder or the Becca one if I want more glowy finish. It's not really natural but works the best of all foundations I've tried. Also having the skin well moisturizer is the key for the foundation to go on right even if you have an oily skin. Exfoliating regularly is important too for the foundation to go on more smooth. Another foundation I used to use all the time is Dior and it's really good too but again not natural. Estée Lauder doublewear is great too. If you don't mind BB creams, Dr Jart, Erborian and Missha are great. I prefer BB creams myself for a quick, daily makeup although I do use foundations a few days a week too. I just like the convenience of BB creams and the skin care benefits too.
