Yea, I also hated BE's brushes. They're part of the reason I was breaking out, because I researched it and I found that stiff hard brushes (like BE's) can cause microtears in the skin, and then once minerals rested into those microtears it could cause breakouts (and in my case caused a minor breakout of cystic acne, something I never suffered from before). I'm using Smashbox, MAC, and Alison Raefale brushes right now which work wonderfully.
