I had that problem with mineral makeup too until I started using a glycolic acid lotion to help with exfoliation. It makes a tremendous difference. My makeup looks perfectly even now. It also improves dryness and helps to even out skin tone.

If you use a glycolic acid to exfoliate, you have to be religious about sunscreen. Otherwise, it's possible to do more harm than good.

Also, exfoliating then moisturizing while your skin is damp works well. I bet that dry patch on your forehead would be gone in no time!
