In my opinion, though to some extent the book might really help children understand, still it gives them the notion that changing one's appearance is ok. For me, plastic surgery is ok if it will help you develop as a person or will help you as a person regarding confidence and self-reliance. But some people seem to over do it, you know. Like every part of them is re-done which is, for me, going way over board.

What about teaching children to love themselves for who they are, though?
