Re: Obama and Rev. Jeremiah A. Wright

ok an update. an interview with Rev Wright by Bill Moyer came out yesterday. Just my feeling but Rev Wright threw Barack Obama under the bus on this one. I mean on the eve of the upcoming primaries why did he feel it necessary to respond? Was he that concerned about his personal reputation as a pastor to speak now? The last time this whole thing came up it hurt Obama significantly. why now?

and in the interview he is extremely dismissive of Obama, saying basically that he responds like he (Obama) does because he is just another politician. I agree with those that said Obama should have distanced himself from Rev Wright when this first came out! I would have thought he would have been proud of what Barack Obama has accomplished.

I have finally had a chance to see that sermon from Rev Wright from Sept 11, 2002 and i have to say i am shocked that there was not more outrage over this. To say the chickens have come home to roost is basically saying the US had a brutal attack like 911 coming and is an incendiary remark. I have no respect for Rev Wright.
